The matrix was one of the best movies of 1999. In my opinion though it was one of the best movies ever made. It starred Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, and Carrie-Anne Moss.

Our world is a hoax. Our everyday actions are a mere dream. A computer based world meant to keep us under control. In reality the year is closer to 2199. Computers rule the world and keep humans as an energy source. But there a some who are out of the computers control. A small rebel faction who is searching. Searching for one who can defeat the computers. When they find him they take him into a world of fast paced, intense, life-or-death action.

What would most of you say to a movie like this? Sounds like another cheap sci-fi flick. Well it's not. THe special effects are wicked as hell and the plot is amazing. I have little to say right now about it because I am still in shock about how awesome it was.
