FLORI-DUHHHH!!!!!!! Well that about sums it up as far as I am concerned with a lot of the
voters in Florida. Happy belated
Thanksgiving. I hope you all
were fortunate to be as stuffed as I was. Personally, I think I overdid it. I had way too much food. A tad bit of gluttony. Well, let’s get to business. The “election.” I am the only one who gets sick to
the stomach whenever the subject of the prolonged presidential election is
brought up. Now it seems that
Gore is not going to concede defeat with this Sunday’s deadline. You know folks, even if he does win,
he will not get the respect he is looking for and not receive support from
Congress. I dare say even other
Democrats are getting tired of this.
Gore is fighting to count dimple ballots. In other words he is all for “assuming what the voters
decisions are but will not allow counting of the overseas ballots with
uncertain date stamps, even though these are clearly marked decisions. I thought he was all for the will of
the voter, but I guess he meant the will of the voter as long as it is in his
favor. Gore is clearly breaking
the law because he is not satisfied with the outcome. This is just a prime a example of
what this administration is all about and has been for the past eight years. One lie after another and constant
manipulation of the truth as well as manipulation of the law. I guess for this braintrust the ends
justifies the means. And the ignorant masses fall for this crap over and
over. They do not care that the
entire eight years is a lie as long as they hear what they want to hear. Let me get back to the subject of the Florida
voters. All the whiners and
complainers who say they were mislead by the ballot or were confused, to
that, I say, you are stupid and ignorant and probably do not deserve to have
your vote counted. Before you
get your panties in an uproar, let me tell you why I feel this way. In something as important as deciding
who the next leader of the greatest country on the planet, common sense would
dictate that you study the ballot carefully and make sure your vote, whomever
it may be for, gets counted. You
do not rush through this so you can make it home in time for the five o’clock
news. And as far the the
confusing ballot goes, if you did not like the ballot, why the hell did
you approve it in the first
place. This is not the first
election in which this ballot was used and there were no controversies
before. Wise up people, you cannot be all that stupid. The United States of America is now
the laughing stock of the world, thanks to you and Al Gore. And Florida is now going to be labled
as the state with the least amount of intelligence. What has become of this society folks? Have we lost sight of the good and
just things on which this country was founded? The founders of this great nation would be spinning in
their graves right now. The have
a wasteland ruled by frivolous laws suits and moral decal. A real disregard for respect and
authority. And what is more
appalling is that it is condoned by the President and his
administration. We have the
Amierican Civil Liberties Union, which is quick to file lawsuits on anybodies
behalf regarding anything no matter how trivial. Especially when it comes to
Religion. If you ask me, we need
more religion and structure.
People have no sense of morals or good will towards one another. You cannot even raise your children without
constant fear of the CPS interfering and telling you how you may and may not
raise your own children. Your
kids who do not hesitate to call the CPS just because they are told no every
once in a while. This is
absolutely sickening. And
parents who think TV and cable is an appropriate substitute for raising
children. It seems today that
children know more about sex and violence than their own parents do. This is just sickening. I have a question folks, just when did God
become a bad guy? When did it become bad to have a conscience and do things
that are morally right? I have become extremely disappointed in the direction
that society has gone. Criminals can dictate there own trials, convicted
criminal are granted so many chances, yet they continue there ravenous
behavior, and still we do nothing to correct this. It is getting to a point
where you cannot even defend yourself in your own home. I honestly feel that
today's law are created to protect the criminals and not the victims. This
upsets me so much that I just want to scream. You know, a long time ago, when
religious and moral values played a serious role in daily life, the crime
rate was down, and people actually respected each other. Sure there was an
occasional fight or two, but it was settled at that. These days, everything
is solved with a gun. There is no fear of God, nor is there respect for
elders. Fear and respect are two essentials that this society desperately
needs. I believe in God folks,
so sue me! What is happening,
however, is my faith is waning.
How can I continue to have faith when our society is in moral
decline? I keep reminding myself
how blessed I truly am. I have a
good job, in which I work very hard, I have a beautiful wife and am so lucky to
have her, a caring, loving family, but sometimes it is hard folks. Our own
politicians, those who make the law, are telling us, essentially, that it is
okay to lie, cheat and steal.
Very disappointing. If this country is under such prosperity,
why do we still have a national debt that is in the trillions of dollars, and
why is this country so disheartened with the current administration? There
are so many things wrong with society, and it definitely does not help when
the President, who should be doing something to rectify the problem, is doing
nothing but perpetuating the problems. Now, do not get me wrong, I do not
feel that government should be our big brother or big sister, I think they
along with the rest of us, should be doing something to promote moral values.
I think, though that most of that responsibility starts at home, we definitely
need role models at the home-front, not a scandal hungry public. Let's face
it folks, the nation is at its lowest point ever. Don't forget to visit my fun facts page, I

that should be fixed now.
