The Rules of Submission
(Or what determines whether I will get
your story published or not)
- Stories must be easy to read and
understandable. I don't mind a few spelling mistakes here
or there, we all make mistakes, but I won't publish if
your stories have consistent errors with grammer,
spelling etc. This is because in order for the people out
there to read them, I would have to correct every single
mistake, and with the amount of time this takes, I'm not
willing to go through that when I've got my own fanfics
to write, things to do, etc.
- Stories have to be about Video Games,
Manga, or Anime. No Star Trek or Ally McBeal stories or
anything like that in here, thank you.
- No silly stuff. I'm not a big fan of
stories that would even get kicked out of Monty Python's
Flying Circus for being too silly. I like a bit of humour
here and there, but there must be some seriousness to the
story. So no stories about the Street Fighters kicking
the crap out of Teletubbies or anything else like that!
- Please, NO HENTAI! Or at the least, no
Hentai that overeposes female or male 'attributes'. For
those who don't know what Hentai is, they're pornographic
pictures of characters. I like nice fanart as much as the
next man, but not pornographic ones. If any of you says
that the picture of Aya covered in blood is Hentai, it
doesn't count, her tits are covered by the blood. So
pictures like that are okay.
- No Adult writings. I may be going a little
over the line with the rape scene in chapter 1 of "The
White Angel", but even then it doesn't over indulge
itself. Besides, I placed a warning for people who don't
like that stuff, so they can skip it and read on a couple
of lines down. So no "Tifa rubbed her hand over
Cloud's hard......" you know what I mean?
- This also extends rule 5, but I'm not a
fan of Yaoi (gay writing). So no gay stuff, please.
- You dont have to do this, but I would
prefer it if you would write a little about yourself,
what types of fanfiction you like, when you send your
fanfic, so that I understand your writing type more. I
would also like your e-mail address, Home page URL (if
you have one), and any comments about my page and my work.
I like to read e-mails about my site, especially ones
that tell me how I can improve it.
- Finally, make sure you write a little
introduction about your story so that I can put it up
before I link the pages containing the story. This is
because the people out there won't want to waste time and
money on looking at a story and find out that it actually
isn't their cup of tea. The Intro will help them decide
whether they are interested in your story or not.
Thank you, and Good Luck with your writing.
