Hehehe, this is my first Fanfic so please dont hurt me......I do want your oppinion so please tell me. I do not own DBZ (though i wish i did) so dont lawsuit me. The character Kytana is my own creation, but the characters Gabriel and Rachel, arent, they're from the book Arch Angel. I hope you like it, and do send me your thoughts. [email protected]
So then Gabriel, are we still in agreement?? said Frieza.I dont know.Im not to thrilled with the idea,said the great Angel. Angelo,its a simple matter, give me your daughter,and I wont destroy the planet,said Frieza smiling.Will I still see her?? said Gabriel frowning.She will live with you for two months every year,when I say so.You have had her for five years whats your problem?? With all do respect master Frieza,snapped Gabriel she is my daughter and I love her.Besides her mother must train her, she is to marry the Saiyen prince,and she cant be untrained in the wifely duties Frieza snorted I am very well aware of that situation, and I agree that she must be trained in that-ah- field.It will be done. I have women enough on the base planet to teach her such things. If you worry about how she will be treated, you need not. I will treat her as if she were my own daughter."said Frieza."But Frieza why have you taken intrest in her?" said Gabriel looking down."I don't know if you've noticed but your daughter has a great deal of hidden power, and she has alot of potential I want to see her trained properly" said Frieza lifting his chin.
" Anf she wont be trained properly here?" " No" "I see,well then do you know what you ask? Ransom my daughter for my planet?"said Gabriel heatedly." I am very well aware of what I ask, but it does not matter to me either way I will have her. If I have to destroy the planet to do so I will.Now then what's your decision? Destroy the planet?" said Frieza smiling malaciously.Groaning Gabriel said "No. You can have her"..."Splended! Have her ready, we will leave tomorrow.She has a room on my ship take her things there" said Frieza turning."So soon?She's only five!Just a few more years master Frieza,a few more years!" said Gabriel frantically."Angelo" growled Frieza"you try my patience! Consider yourself lucky I didn't take her sooner.I have been aware of her power since the day you signed the agreement with Vegeta,concerning the marriage.As it is she is late in starting her training.Get her ready" with that Frieza stormed out of the room.
"My daughter,what shall I do?"thought Gabriel to himself.The king sat in his chair and tried to avoid the inevidable,telling his wife and daughter."Oh Gabriel, what did he say?"said Rachel walking into the room some hours later."He wants Kyt."said Gabriel turning his face away from his wife."WHAT!!!He can't have her! She is an angel and of rare breed!" screeched Rachel."Don't you think I know that woman!"yelled Gabriel right back."You are just a mortal, I being an angel would know more than you!" said Gabriel."Don't talk to me like that!She is both of ours!"said Rachel tear welling in her eyes."I'm sorry my love,it's just that I don't want to give her up any more than you do" said Gabriel pulling her close against him."Then don't" "Oh,I wish it were as simple as that.You see Rachel,he has ransomed Kyt. for the planet"said Gabriel leading her to a nearby chair."Are you saying that if we don't give our daughter to that monster he will destroy us all?"said Rachel her eyes wide with fear."Yes,and "as if sensing her next question he said "not only that he said he will still have her" "Oh Gabriel! Will we ever see her again?""Yes my love, he said she is to live with us for two months a year" said Gabriel lifting her to a standing postition and leading her towards the door.
"Two months!Thats not enough time! How will I train her when I only have two months a year?" "He said he will take care of it" said Gabriel witha shrug of his shoulders."Oh I hate that Frieza! May he burn in hell! Gabriel she's only five"said Rachel bursting into tears,clinging to her husband."I know, but our hands are tide. Let us go get her ready" with that said they walked out of the room weaping." Mommy, Mommy where are we going" said the little angel watching her mother pack her things."WE'RE not going anywhere" said Rachel trying to hold back the tears.Looking at her mother skeptically, " then why are you packing my things?" "Because YOU are going somewhere" "O.k then mommy,where am," then noticing her mother on the brink of tears she finished softening her tone "I going" " You,are going on master Frieza's spaceship" said Rachel bursting into tears."It's ok mommy don't cry." she said trying to comfort her mother."Master Frieza? wasn't he here earlier talking to daddy?" said Kytana." Yes my child, that was him" Giving her mother a thoughtful look she said " Why is it so bad that I go with him he seems nice enough"With a look of horror Rachel replied " NICE! Nice is not a word I'd use to describe that monster!" "Oh mommy for shame! Master Frieza has always been good to us" Kytana started." Good! Maybe in your life time, because he has had his eye on you but let me assure you he is as bad as the Saiyans" " Your mother is right,Kyt."said Gabriel walking in the door."Hey daddy, wow you look sad" said Kytana looking up at her father."Of course he's sad he has to give up his only little girl!" wailed Rachel."Calm down Rachel, she doesn't know any better....."said Gabriel."I don't know any better? May I remide you that I am not an intellectual inferior" snapped Kytana glaring at her father.Frowning Gabriel said "Kyt. may I remide you who you are talking to.I am sorry I slighted your intelligence but you are only five, and we do know best" Kytana getting angrier at her parents who continue to weap and be sad said " Oh you know best eh? Well let me tell you this father, I shall be happy to go with master Frieza. I probably would get better training there any way" "DAUGHTER!!! Watch your mouth you don't even know what you are you talking about!"yelled Gabriel."Oh really well I will be fine by myself! You may leave now" she said turning her back to them and waving towards the door."Bu......ut" sputtered Rachel." Come on love, she obviously is angry we should leave her alone" said Gabriel scowling and leading Rachel toward the door." But these are the last hours we have with her!"wailed Rachel." Yes but she is stubborn, not unlike her mother.I think it is best that we leave her now" said Gabriel."But," " Come on," he said leading her out the door " Kytana, finish packing your things be ready to go for first light" he said coldly."Yes father," Kytana bowing her head " good, I don't need you anyway,I'll get all my training in martial arts from master Frieza and I have the basis for magic and I know of the other spells so I can train myself" she thought to herself."King Gabriel, master Frieza is here" said the servant coming into the throne room.Sighing Gabriel got up and said " let him in" " I trust she is ready to go" said Frieza walking in." I don't know she insisted that she do it herself" said Gabriel looking angry."Well, as long as she's ready" said Frieza looking up at Gabriel.Just then Rachel burst in, in tears." I take it that you are the monster that is taking my daughter?" she screeched." Angelo,can't you controll your women?" said Frieza backing up from Rachel." Yes Master Frieza, Rachel" " Oh mother! Do behave! What must master Frieza think of us?" said Kytana walking in followed by servants carrying her bags." I don't really care what that monster thinks of us" said Rachel between sobs.With a horified look on her face Kytana turned to Frieza and said " Master Frieza do excuse my mother's outburst" " Of course my dear," he replied bowing slightly at Kytana " I take it then that you are Kytana?" " Yes my lord" " Splendid, then you are ready to come with me?" " Yes my lord. I am very excited to come with you to your ship" she said politly curtsying." Then lets get going shall we?" said Frieza extending his hand." Wait, there are things that need to be said" said Gabriel speaking up for the first time."I hardly think anything needs to be said" said Frieza turning to face Gabriel." I think there is," Gabriel gathering courage he continued " Me and Rachel think it is to soon for you to take her" " Excuse me?" said Frieza his face going dark with anger." My husband is right. A little girl needs her parents, and we don't think she is ready" said Rachel lifting her head in defiace.Frieza was so angry he could not see strait, seeing this Gabriel grabbed his wife and put her behind him, but when he tried to do the same with his daughter Kytana slipped from his grasp and stepped over beside Frieza." Kytana, get over here now!" said Gabriel suprised at his daughter's actions."No father" " Girl what is wrong with you? Listen to your father!" said Rachel."No" "Then do you betray us Kytana?"said her father the hurt showing in his eyes."Betray? I don't see it as betraying you. I see it as being smart and logical about the matter. Master Frieza wants only to train me so I might be stronger, why do you object to this?" said the little girl tilting her head slightly to one side as she looked at her parents."I object to this because you are my daughter, and I think you are to young to leave home!" said Gabriel stepping toward his daughter."You are being foolish.I care not what you think. I am old enough to make my own decisions, and my decision is to go with Master Frieza. Any chance I have to become more powerful I will take" said Kytana as she reached up and took Frieza's hand." You are only five! You can not make your own decisions,we,"looking at her husband "as your parents and guardians know what's best for you and you are not going any where with that monster!" said Rachel her eyes full of hatred for the man who would take her baby away.Smiling Frieza interupted " See that is where you are wrong, good Angelica, I am her guardian now and I say she is free to make her own choice.So then Kytana what is your choice?" " To go with you lord Frieza" " NOOOOOO!!" screamed Rachel." Hm, Hm there you have it Gabriel she choses to come with me, " said Frieza laughing." She is five,she does not know what she has done" said Gabriel glaring at Frieza." You better watch it good king. I have over looked your defience just because the girl has more sense than you do, but be warned Gabriel I have a short temper do not push it" said Frieza frowning at the pair." Now Kytana we must be on our way, say goodbye to your parents" said Frieza letting go of the girl's hand." Yes my lord," said Kytana as she turned to her parents " Goodbye mother, father, I shall miss you both" " I wish you would reconsider this, Kyt. You don't know what you are getting into" said Gabriel as Kytana held her hand up to quiet her father."I know but, it is my mistake to make. I don't believe it is a mistake but you are allowed your own oppinion" "You are so young.I do wish well, you will always be our little girl.We love you Kytana" said Rachel forgetting her anger at her little girl."I love you both two" said Kytana as she embraced both her parents "Goodbye" "Kytana,come take my hand and we'll be off" said Frieza.Kytana walked over to Frieza and took his hand, when she heard her mom sob she turned and said "be brave" and with that she disappeared behind the closing door.Kytana looked up at the short pwerful man that held her hand."You know he does look wierd" she thought as she surveyed his features.He was short with horns on either sid of his head, he had on armor,his eyes were pink,as were his arms and legs and he had a tail." How odd"she thought comparing him to herself. She had meduim length black hair and sharp features, most would say she was quite a plain child.Her two best features were her wings and her eyes.Her wings were pure white and hung nicely to just below her behind.Her eyes were large and dark blue, they looked like sparkling sapphires that one could easily get lost in. " Master Frieza, where do you come from? You look alot different that me or Lord Zarbon" asked Kytana looking up at Frieza.Frieza looked down at her, "I come from a faraway place, have you never seen anyone that is of another species? "Kytana shook her head,"no, I have only seen angel and mortal(human)" "Really?"Frieza looked surprised "well on my ship and on my base everyone is from a different place"Kytana's eyes went wide with fear"wow! How many different places are there?" "How many?,thats a hard question......there are lots" Kytana looked thoughtful,"Hmmm...."Frieza looked down at her and smiled " dont worry about it,you'll get used to it"Kytana smiled, " Yes i suppose i will" They turned down hallway, while they were walking all sorts of people turned and marveled at the sight of the all powerful Frieza holding the hand of a little girl,an angel at that.The people of Angelos don't usually foster out their children especially not the angelic ones, they were to rare.But nobody thought to question Frieza,they feared him."This is your room" said Frieza leading Kytana into a large pretty room."Wow! all this is mine?" asked Kytana looking at the brightly furnished room.In the middle of the room was a big bed with a pink quilt,there was a dresser and a desk a closet." Your a princess,I thought you would be used to rooms like this" said Frieza smiling at her excitement." Oh no! At home our bedrooms are small"said Kytana her eyes wide.Smiling Frieza replied "I want you to feel like this is your home" "I'll try,is this a bathroom?" Kytana rushed over to a door on the wall and pressed the control panel.The door slip open to revel a delightful bathroom.It had a large mirror with lights along the edges. She looked at the full sink and at the other end of the room she saw a large bath tub and shower. With her eyes wide she turned and ran up to Frieza and gave him a big hug."Oh thank you Master Frieza,thank you thank you thank you!" she said as she clung to Frieza."Oh well,you-your welcome"Frieza suprised.Finally letting go,her eyes glistening with tears Kytana went and sat down on the edge of her new bed."Well then I'm glad you like it" said Frieza not quite able to get over the reaction."We have to visit the planet Vegeta so......"said Frieza."The planet Vegeta? Isnt that the Saiyan home planet?" asked Kytana."Yes" then seeing the disgusted look on her face Frieza added laughing "I take it you dont like the Saiyans?Well do try to be civil" "Yes,my lord" " Zarbon will come by and pick you up when it is time to go" Frieza turned and walked out, followed by Dudoria, but Zarbon stayed behind."Why is it that you dont like the Saiyans?"he asked with concern." My dad says there nothing but dirty monkeys,who steal planets"said Kytana disgust written all over her face.Zarbon chuckled "they are monkeys, but try not to hate them to much" "I dont think its that i HATE them exactly, I think I fear them" "Well dont worry little one, either I or Frieza will be with you so you need not fear.I'll see you later" said Zarbon turning towards the door."thank you" "Your welcome,goodbye"

4 hours later Kytana heard a knock at her door.
?Kytana its time to go, are you ready?? called Zarbon through the door.?One moment please? Kytana called back.
Kytana pulled a sweatshirt over her T-shirt and opened the door. ? That's what you're planning to wear?? asked Zarbon.?Yes, what's wrong??Zarbon looking at her jeans and gray sweat shirt said ?Its totally improper, you are going to meet the king?
? But look at what your wearing,? she said pointing to his armor, ?your wearing armor and a cape?
? Hmm, yes but I'm an adult and a man, it's a sign of honor. Now get changed?Kytana rolled her eyes ? And what does being a man have to do with anything? I mean just cause you're a man doesn't mean you any more important that a woman? she said scowling.
Zarbon looked down at the little scowling face and sighed. ?I suppose it doesn't, but if you don't hurry and get changed we are going to be late, then we'll both be in trouble from master Frieza? he said shoving her towards the closet.?And what am I suppose to wear?? she asked raising her eyebrow.?A dress??ACK! I'm not wearing one of those frilly pink things!? she said turning her back to the closet.
Zarbon rubbed his temples ? Little one your being difficult,? Kytana smiled ?ok then how bout this one? said Zarbon pulling a blue velvet dress out of the closet. ?It doesn't have frills and it's not pink?
Kytana looked at the dress ? Yes I suppose that will do?..I hate dresses you know,? she said taking the dress from Zarbon.
? I gathered that, now hurry up and get changed, we've wasted enough time as it is? Zarbon said walking out the door.
Kytana snorted and proceeded to change into the dress. She quickly ran a brush through her hair, grumbling the whole time, and then opened the door. Zarbon looked her over and smiled, ?Now that?s better, come on master Frieza's waiting in the ships hold?
?Well I?m glade you approve? said Kytana sarcastically.
Zarbon looked down at her sternly ? Little one, maybe on your home planet you could get away with that because you're a princess, but here you do not talk to your superiors like that.Show some respect?
Kytana thought about it for a moment then sighed ?I'm sorry lord Zarbon, I guess I?m a little unnerved, you know with meeting the Saiyajins and wearing a dress and all?
Zarbon smiled ? It's alright, but remember In the future. Come on we must go? he said stretching out his hand.
Kytana took his hand and said ?I will?
They walked down the hall towards the ship's hold.
When Kytana and Zarbon walked through the doors to the ships hold, an agitated Frieza greeted them. "You are late Zarbon." said Frieza frowning at the green skinned man.
"I am sorry lord Frieza....we had a misunderstanding about clothing......" replied Zarbon.
Frieza snorted, " I don't care about clothing Zarbon, it was your responsibility to get her here....."
Kytana interrupted, " No Master Frieza, it was my fault."
Frieza looked down at the little girl, "Your fault? How? Zarbon knows the rules, you don't keep me waiting, it is his fault" he said turning back to yell at Zarbon.
Kytana spoke up again, " No Master Frieza it was, my fault, I was being difficult"
Frieza scowled, "Girl, do not interrupt me, what were you being difficult about?" he said giving in.
"I was going to wear jeans and a T-shirt, but lord Zarbon told me that they were improper...." she was interrupted by Frieza commenting " It is"
" Anyways, he told me I was to wear a dress, because I am a girl, and I argued with him about it"
" And this is what took so long?"
"Hai...."
" Well then it is you who is to be reprimanded, Kytana you do not speak against your superiors, I would have thought you would know that. Do not let it happen again." Frieza said sternly.
"Gomen nasai, Master Frieza"
Frieza sighed, " Very well then let?s be on our way, the King is waiting.
" Ah, Master Frieza always pleasure" said a big Saiyan with a crest on his armor.
"Vegeta, yes always a pleasure" said Frieza.
"May I ask what your business is here with us? Surely its not with the progress on Tralaxia?" said Vegeta.
"No, this visit is concerning your son"
"My son? What about my son?" asked Vegeta.
"Now Vegeta, you don't even invite us to sit down or anything, What kinds of manners are those?" said Frieza smiling up at Vegeta.
"OH! I am sorry Master Frieza, of course, won't you stay and eat with us?" Vegeta asked hurriedly.
Frieza smirked, ? Yes I believe I will, but first I must introduce you to someone? he said ushering Kytana forward.
?Vegeta, this is Kytana, princess of the angels, Kytana this is Vegeta, king of the Saiyajins? Frieza pushed Kytana forward.
?My lord? she said placing her hand into the Saiyajins.
?Hello Kytana,? said Vegeta kissing the top of her hand.
?Lord Frieza , you said she is the princess on Angelos? Does that mean she?s?? said Vegeta releasing the girls hand. Kytana backed up and stood behind Frieza.
?Yes, she is the one, but I don?t wish her to know so don?t say anything, ok?? said Frieza taking the little girls hand.
? Of course master Frieza, I haven?t told my son and I don?t plan on doing it soon,? said Vegeta.
Kytana interrupted the twos conversation, it was blatantly obvious that they were talking about her, ?Um, master Frieza, what are you to talking about? I know that you are talking about me,? She looked up at Frieza.
Frieza scowled, ?Kytana, did I not just tell you not to interrupt me? And further, did I not tell you not to question your superiors??
Kytana looked down, ?Hai, master Frieza?
?Then listen!? he snapped.
?I am sorry master Frieza, it won?t happen again?
?Good see that it doesn?t,? he looked down at the little angel and his expression softened, ?do not worry, you will catch on. I am proud of you?
Kytana looked up confused, how can he be mad at her one minute and proud the next?
Frieza chuckled at the little girl?s expression and then explained himself, ?You see most children your age would have broken down crying, you didn?t and for that I am proud.?
?I believe crying is for the weak?
Frieza out and out laughed at this ?I think you should have been born a Saiyajin, not an angel, but no matter?
Vegeta watched this wide-eyed, ?uh master Frieza, I hate to interrupt but hold is she??
?Why don?t you ask her your self??
?Ok then, how old are you?? said Vegeta turning to speak to the little angel.
Kytana raised her face to look the king in the eyes, ?I am five years old my lord?
?FIVE!? the king exclaimed, ?surely your older than that!?
?No sir, I am only five?
Vegeta?s face conveyed his disbelief. Frieza seeing this said ?Think about it Vegeta, when did you sign the agreement??
Vegeta frowned, ?About 5 years ago?
?Exactly, it was signed when she was born right? It is simple math, even your Saiyajin brain could do it? Frieza said.
?You are right master Frieza, it is just that she is so smart, unlike other five year olds. The five year olds on Vegeta-sei are mature, but she excels that? said Vegeta still frowning.
Frieza smiled, ?Angels tend to be smart,? then changing the topic he continued, ?now enough of this Vegeta, we are weary from travel and you and me have things to discuss?
?Of course my lord, this way? he replied leading them down a hallway.
?Now Kytana , go with Zarbon, he will take you to the gardens or something? said Frieza turning to follow Vegeta.
Kytana started to say something about where he was going but then remember about not questioning superiors and simply said ?Yes master Frieza? she watched him walk away.
Zarbon saw the forlorn look on her face and spoke up ?Come on little one,?
Kytana looked up at Zarbon with her big sapphire eyes, ?where did he go??
Zarbon shook his head, ?I don?t know, master Frieza rarely explains himself, now come along, we?ll go do something before supper? Zarbon took her hand and led her in the opposite direction as she had seen Frieza go in.
?ok? and off the two went.
?Ah Kytana, I trust that you and Zarbon had a good time?? said Frieza coming into the great dining hall.
?Hai, we did? said Kytana quietly.
?Good, come sit over here by me? he said patting the seat beside him.
?Yes my lord? she said coming to sit beside him, she was followed closely by Zarbon.
Frieza frowned at Zarbon?s actions and said ?The king and his son will be here shortly, remember, be on your best behavior?
?Of course my lord? said Kytana bowing her head.
All three of them looked up as king Vegeta came in followed by a boy of about ten that was an image of his father. He had black hair that stood up on his head, dark eyes and a brown furry tail wrapped around his waist.
?Ah, a pleasure to see you again Kytana,? said Vegeta smiling down at her.
?yes my lord?
?Vegeta come here,? said the king stepping aside to allow the boy through. ?Son, you already know Frieza and Zarbon but you have yet to meet Kytana. Kytana this is my son Vegeta, this is the princess of Angelos, Kytana?
The Prince scowled at Kytana, ?Hello, girl?
Kytana scowled back, ?Hello, boy?
The two children stared at each other. Each one looking the other up and down. Kytana had a bad feeling about this boy. ?She?s just a little girl, harmless? said the prince with a wave of his hand.
Kytana exploded, ?HARMLESS! Master Frieza told me to be civil, but I can only be civil to those who are civil to me, and you boy? poking him in the chest, ? are not civil, you are a rude, arrogant stupid boy!? Kytana glared at the price who was smirking, ?Not to mention, I ham anything but harmless. I could show you a thing or to about respect?
?Oh, you think you could fight me?? he started laughing hysterically, ?this little girl, that has probably never fought a fight in her life, thinks she could fight me? The price of the Saiyajins?? he laughed some more.
?I would not laugh at me boy! You under estimate my abilities? said Kytana getting angrier and angrier at his laughing at her.
?Ha, Ha, Ha, I?ll laugh if I want to? said Prince Vegeta laughing even harder.
?Then why don?t you put your money where your mouth is? Or are you afraid?? said Kytana through gritted teeth.
Vegeta stopped laughing, ? Hah! Afraid? Of what? You? Hardly, you are master Frieza?s ward, I cant fight you,? said the boy frowning.
?Fine, but I shall always think you were afraid to fight me? said Kytana smirking.
? I ALREADY TOLD YOU I AM NOT AFRAID!? yelled prince Vegeta.
?Ok, ok you two that?s enough? said the king with a worried look on his face.
?Hmm, it?s ok Vegeta, I think it would be good for them both, I need to test the girl?s abilities anyway. Kytana my dear, go with Zarbon and get changed into something you can fight in,? said Frieza turning to address Zarbon, ?Zarbon, take her to the training field in 20 minutes, then they shall have there fight?
?Of course master Frieza, but do you think it?s wise to let them fight? We don?t even know her abilities? said Zarbon.
?I don?t appreciate you questioning me Zarbon, now go, I know what I?m doing? said Frieza frowning at Zarbon.
?Yes my lord, come along Kytana? said Zarbon taking the little girls hand.
Kytana took Zarbon?s hand and started to follow him, but half way down the hall she turned her head and stuck her tongue out at the boy. Prince Vegeta?s face turned cloudy and dark with anger, Frieza seeing this started to laugh, ?Vegeta, go get your son ready, remember twenty minutes?
?Yes master Frieza, come on Vegeta you must not get mad over such trifle things? said the king placing his hand on the prince?s shoulder and leading him down the hall.
In the Next chapter of Legacy of an angel, the big fight, who will win? The Angel or the Saiyajin?
