A Little About Me....

Yep you guessed it...that's me ;)

This is me. This picture was taken in June of last year I think. I do have a more recent one, but I'm in my uniform, blah, blah, blah...well you get my drift I think. ;) I work at Grand Casino, Tunica (Mississippi). I love my job. I'm a Slot Dispatcher. To sum that up, I send tickets for jackpots and fills via computer. It's alot of fun and I never thought I'd find a job that I would actually enjoy that much. Chances are, if you've been to the Grand on the Grave shift and won a jackpot or have needed a fill, then I've probably been the one to send the ticket for that...that is, within the past 6 months ;) Now on to other things...

A major love of my life....the ocean....
|
|
I'm generally a happy person. Some of the things I love in life are my family, friends, animals, especially tigers and dolphins. If there were any way possible I would live in the ocean. To know what it's like to see a wild dolphin only yards away or to see a baby whale surface right beneath you...it is truly awesome. The ocean is the one thing I miss from when I was in Florida for 5 years. Also, music...I think I'd have to say that dance music is my favorite, but I like all kinds. Madonna is a big favorite of mine and has been ever since I first heard of her. I'm also a stargazer. I love the stars, the night air, the peacefulness. I'm also into computers and have been for a while now. I had my first

A Knight in Shining Armor...(literally) ;)

Now that I've said a few things about my personal side, here's one last thing. The whole reason behind my homepages...RolePlaying. I first discovered this entertaining hobby in October of 1995. I joined CompuServe on October 7th, 1995...only to look up a patch file for a computer game I was having trouble with. The next thing I knew, I was in the RPG (Role-Playing Games) Forum. At that moment, I entered into something far more fun than what I'd been used to. I became addicted to it. I spent hours and hours online at a time. There was a time when I stayed online for 62 hours, only with a little break here and there. Although it was taking over my life, it was also the most fun time of my life. That soon changed though. I was in the middle of divorcing my ex-husband at that time and the next thing I knew, the computer was gone. Roleplaying is in a sense, like a drug. I did have withdrawals from it and now I'm at a point of where I hardly roleplay anymore. It will always be a love of my life but don't let it take over. Roleplaying can definitely change your life...in more ways than one. I made a lot of friends when I was on CompuServe and they are still my friends today. I would mention names but there are far too many of them. I'd like to say thank you to all of them for being there for me...they are forever in my heart. This is not a goodbye to roleplaying, but only a small walk down memory lane. :) And to you who are reading this, thank you for taking the time to share in my memories. I believe my character pages will be IC (in character), otherwise known as, from the character's point of view, not mine. Now for the character show. ;)
