Suddenly we find three ways and Lina decides: "Zel, you go with Philia , Xelloss with Amelia and you, Gourry, come with me"

I feel shivering in front of the meaning of his sentence and I stop. He stops too and turns to me: "What's the problem, Amelia?"

He brushes my cheek: "But?"
"But I love the light and the life and you wishes the darkness and the death of the world that I know!"

Suddenly I hear a pained shout, it's the Valgharv's voice. Xelloss looks me in a strange way then he directs towards him that prepares to fight. Xelloss stops him: "Calm, I want only speak you!"
His voice is smug but Val asks explanations.
Xelloss doesn't loose his tone: "Well, My boss asked me to recruit you because we are without personal. You can call Darkstar here with the needed precautions and if you have success we offer Lina as exchange!"
I'm stunned, Xel has just said that he's disposed giving Lina to Valgharv… But I've a doubt: Xelloss is an intelligent demon why have he spoken so to Val? This is the best way persuading him to refuse. In fact he refuses and Xel without change tone inform him that he had the instruction killing him if he refused. Then a terrible battle takes life in front of my eyes, Xelloss is a cruel enemy and Val is so raged but Xel seems win. He has hold him to the ground and hit him continually with his staff.
I can't move, I can only observe while Xelloss shows his… cruelty and when Val cast an energy ball to me I can't help it. It hit the vault of cavern above me and it collapses.
A following second I'm in the air under the Xelloss' arms and I'm clinging to him: "Thank you very much, Xelloss!"
He smiles and comes down to ground: "You are welcome but be careful!"
Before I can say a word he come back to fight but this time Val knows his method and he strikes him.
I feel me shouting and run near Xelloss: "NOOOO!"
In that moment Lina and Gourry arrive with Armeice, Zel and Philia arrive with Jiras and the Hikari no Ken. Lina runs to my side: "Xelloss, what he has done you?"
He smiles and with cheerful voice: "Well, I tried to buy him offering him you as exchange but he raged. I'm afraid he thought valuing more!"
Lina becomes red: "You… HAD TRIED USING ME AS EXCHANGE!?"

He whines: "But LINA-CHAN!"

I help Xelloss to stand up and we run to stop Val.
I don't know the cause but I feel sad and non-afraid when I think to him.
