Autozam
Autozam is a planet near Cephiro... their technology is so polluting their atmosphere is dying, sensing the death of the pillar, they are invading Cephiro to gain the knowledge of the pillar system to revive Autozam. These are the technicians and warriors that have dedicated themselves to reviving the envirornment of Autozam.
The list here is the chain of command that works from the weakest in rank and strength, to the strongest in rank and power.

The ship that the Autozam troops arrive in. Its captain? Eagle Vision.

A gear and oil mecha built specifically for Eagle.

Zazu Toruku (Zazu Torque)
Although he's a young boy, he's the chief mechanic of the NSX. There's not a problem he cannot solve.

Jyo Metero (Geo Metro)
Second in command of the NSX, a good friend to both Lantis and Eagle... and very protective of the latter.

Igiru Bijyon (Captain Eagle Vision)
The team leader of the unit dispatched to Cephiro to gain the power of the Pillar. He is the captain of the "NSX." He is considered the "Strongest Captain In Autozam." At times he is ruthless and mean... and then there's another side of him as well, the nice side. Despite his friendship with Lantis, he intends to steal the secrets of the pillar system, even if it means the destruction of Cephiro.

SPOILERS: Highlight this white text to see a spoiler: Later in the series, Hikaru seems to fall in "love" with him, at the same time she is sprung with Lantis. Whether it's "love" or "puppy love" could be debated. At the end of the anime, he dies fighting Nova to save Hikaru.
