These are the magicians and warriors that have dedicated themselves to save Cephiro from the invaders!

Emeroodo Hime (Princess Emeraud)
Princess of Sefiro who called Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu to save Sefiro from destruction. It's her prayers and wishes that hold Sefiro together, without her it would crumble into oblivion. In the first season, it's her imprisonment by Zagato that endangers all of Sefiro. In the second season, she is nothing more than a memory.

Doshi Kurefu (Guru Clef)
The master magic user of Sefiro. He's the magician who greeted the 3 magic knights to Sefiro, gave them their armor, their magic and guided them on their way to battle Zagato. In the second series, he plays the same role. This time though, he is the leader of Cephiro since Emeroodo Hime is dead.

Ferio
A swordsmen, the prince, and the guy that Fuu happens to be smitten with =^_-= A nice guy for the most part, although a bit rough one at times. In the second series he does what he can to protect Cephiro, but that isn't much.

Lafaruga (La Falga or La Farga)
A strong ally in the second series. More info forhtcoming.

Mokona
Rayearth mascot. He doesn't do much, except sit off in the side lines and go "Pupu" in the second series. In the first he's the Knight's only acces to food and safe camp... why? He magically makes it. But still I don't like warm fuzzy mascots that make funny noises... in short... Mokona is (NOT my favorite chracter) But hey, that's just my opinion.

SPOILERS: Highlight this white text to see a spoiler: According to some other sources, Mokona is supposed to be the creator of Cephiro... which more than surprises me...

Puresea (Presea)
Presea is Sefiro's most talented arms maker, and the only person capable of making weapons from Eskudo, the mineral that makes glowing - growing weapons. These weapons grow with the skill of the user, becoming more powerful each time. In the manga she dies halfway through the first series to be replaced a look alike in the second series. But in the RV animation she makes a full recovery.

Karudina (Caldina)
Dark skinned Arabian-esque woman, who's also Asukato's friend. I don't know much about her, she seems to care about Lafaruga, and watches out for Asukotto like a younger brother. Also, she has a hard weaknees for money... it can make her do almost anything. Her specialty? Illusion, powerful illusion with very few limits, her spells can even affect a person's senses.

Asukotto (Ascott or Askott)
In the first series he was a young magician who had only monsters for friends. Zagato told him that if he served him, they could live in the castle together. He fought against the Knights for a time, losing many of his friends to their magic. Then Umi confronted him... and he ceased to face them. Since I haven't seen the rest of the 1st series, I don't know how it turned out... but in the second series he's a court magician, and he's all grown up, but still the king of beast summoning. I think he's in love with Umi in the second season, though some people have e-mailed me that it isn't so. But the way he looks at her, worries about her, and talks to her says "I'm too embarassed to say it" to me.

Purimeera
Rantisu's hench-fairy. A blue and uppity one at that! Rantisu rescued her from a monster in the forest, and since then she's been following him around.

Rantisu
Holy Knight Of Sefiro, formerly stationed in Autozam during the first arrival of the Magic Knights (the entire first series). Hikaru has a total crush on him but he may not quite be aware of it yet... at least that's my opinion, others have speculate otherwise. See Hikaru's descrip for my reasoning.

Sol Zagato (Zagat)
The Holy Priest of Sefiro that imprisoned Princess Emeroodo in the first series. He is nothing more than a memory in this series.

Arushyone (Alcione or Alucione)
In the first series Alcione is the first assasin sent to slay the Magic Knights. At one time she was one of Clef's students... he specifically trained her to be a court user to protec Emeraudo Hime. But, being in love with Zagato changed all that. In the second series, after Zagato's death she goes on a rampage to kill the knights. Later she's a prisoner in the castle... and only she knows the whereabouts of Debonea... very dangerous knowledge indeed.
