| At Affinia, you are given a store front. You link to your
own store with their banners, and people can go in to look at products
which you select. You make your selection according to your own tastes
and along the themes of the site you are working from. The users who come
to your site, usually are there because of the theme, so they will have
similar tastes in the products they purchase.
The store front they give you has access to a very large number of vendors, and each vender has quite a few products. You can set up a luxury type of store with very expensive items, or a 5 & 10 cents type of store. | With Affinia, every time a user goes into their site through your store front and enters a merchants shop to look at a product, you make some change. Genereally it ranges from about .05 - .15 cents depending on the merchant and product. This may not sound like much, but when you have a lot of traffic flowing through your site and people are checking out all the different things you have available, pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters can add up to a lot of money. |
