Lace Greystoke Griffonclaw IV

Lace is the daughter of R'zan Greystoke II and Lace

Griffonclaw III. She is the youngest child of her family, and

has an older brother,R'zan III, who she calls R'z. She was

born in Fengs Keep in Deepwinter of 1405.

Lace and R'zan were both trained in the artsof war,

religion, and history. Soon they were both trained warriors,

as are most children of Feng's Keep.

It was Lace's mother, and namesake, that she spent most

of her time with. Under her care she learned honor

and discipline. Lace's mother was of an Order called

the Sacred Sisters. They are the protectorsof Ellannis, and

Lace would follow in hermother and grandmothers

footsteps as a member of this elite group. Soon Lace

became an able sword maiden, and her mother passed

down her inheritance...magical items to help in her fight

to free Ellannis ~ bracers of defense, a girdle of

giant strength, and a powerful sword. As time passed,

Lace and R'zan went theirown ways. One night though,

they both came to a realization of how important

family really is. Their entire lives, their father had been

very distant. One night he was secretly weeping in his

room,his wife beside him trying to comfort him,

when he revealed the truth. He had, many

years ago, had another wife. Her name was

Tevara, and they had a son named Martyrian. Later

Martyrian would change his name to Azerian.

He was the vampire lord who had killed his uncle Arilanni,

and taken Kazgoroth. Azerian had killed all ofhis other

siblings when they were babies, so R'zan had kept his

distance from his new children, in the hopes that Azerian

would not think that he loved them, thus sparing their

lives. Lace and her brother kept the story to themselves,

but swore to make Azerian their personal business.

Lace and her brother have now sworn themselves to aid

their cousin, Kelson, in his quest to become Emperor...

and free Ellannis from the evil that has taken control of it.
