To me, whenever you talk about anime, Akira comes up as the definition. I know there are lots of other kinds, some good, some bad, but to me anime is Akira. It's not my favorite but it's good.

Ranma 1/2 "Ying and Yang was never so much fun."
As far as I know, besides Sailor Moon, Ranma 1/2 is one of the most pupular anime series ever. It's quite funny and cool at the same time. Here are a few pics.

Pokemon is a really big craze in Japan. The whole deal is based on a game on Nintendo Gameboy. Basically, the world is filled with magic creatures which people have set out to capture and train to fight. It's a cool and cute anime series which has found its way onto american television. The game is to be released on the 29th of September. Once I saw this show I was hooked. The main character is a 10 year old boy who is striving to be the worlds greatest Pokemon master EVER!!!! So far, 4 episodes into the series, he's not doing to well. The pokemon that was given to him was Pikachu (sp??) an electric mouse. He's very cute and it's fun watching him.
