Priests and clerics are those that perform ceremonies such as weddings, blessings, funerals, and soul transfers. Anybody can be a priest, no matter the alignment. The first thing you must do to be a priest is to register and get your Registration #. This will be given to you upon the approval of the application. It will be in 6 digit form with a CP in front (#CP100*000). This number must be in your profile to legally perform ceremonies.
Amendment: All people that die because of CSoR causes, may only be rezzed by CSoR Registered Priests. I urge all priests to register.
CSoR DMs are automatically rezzless if you loose unless stated in the terms beforehand.
Just as for both Assassins and Priests, you must be in a CSoR guild, or as a freelancer to register to be a Priest or Cleric. See the Contracts and Applications section for the applications to become legally registered for CSoR clergy.
~ Resurrections ~
The most common duty of a Priest/Cleric are the resurrections. Rezz's are based on the dice of the person you need to rezz. The higher that person's dice are, the harder it is to bring them back because they have more power which needs to be brought back.
If you rezz, you MUST have at least one Healer present.
Max Healers present in a rezz are three.
~ Rezz Table ~
This is the chart you need. Depending on the victim's dice...YOU need to roll a variable of points.
Victim's Dice/Points needed in the roll to succeed
| d20-29 | 10 |
| d30-39 | 14 |
| d40-49 | 18 |
| d50-59 | 20 |
| d60-69 | 22 |
| d70-79 | 24 |
| d80-89 | 26 |
| d90-99 | 28 |
| d100 | 30 |
If you are trying to Rezz a Super-Natural, the points are doubled
If you are trying to Rezz a Half-Breed, the points are multiplied by 1.5
~ XPs for Rezzes ~
| d20-29 | 50xp |
| d30-39 | 100xp |
| d40-59 | 150xp |
| d60-69 | 200xp |
| d70-89 | 250xp |
| d90-99 | 300xp |
| d100+ | 400xp |
A failed rezz gets you 10 XP if the procedures are done correctly.

Note: Healers and Priests BOTH use 2d during a heal and rezz.
Since damage is easier to do, healing should be harder like IRL.
The MAX number of tries on a mortal rezz is 2.
The MAX number of tries on halfies and supers is 3.
If the Super has d95+, its 4.
~ Other Duties ~
Resurrections are the main job of priests, but there are others as well. All the ceremonies that you perform as a registered priest earn you XP. These ceremonies are to be logged and sent into the High Priest/ess. Please send the entire log and not just a partial one. On the log, the priest must have his/her Name and Reg#, date, time, yours and the Soul's dice along with his/her hps, then finally the cause of death.
If all this is not stated, the rezz will be ruled invalid by the Coroner.
Format to use:
VGiselleV: ((#CP100*001, dice: 2d99, date 11-10-99, time 1:05pmEST, dice of the victime: 4d89, points to rezz: 52, cause of death: AA))
((You will only state 2d for the rezz even if you use 4d normally))
| Service | Earned XP |
|---|---|
| Baptisms | 100xp |
| Blessings | 50xp |
| Funerals | 250xp |
| Childbirth | 300xp |
| Divorce | 250xp |
| Last Rights | 150xp |
| Marriages | 3000xp |
| Soul Transfers | 350xp |
| Transformations | 250xp |
These are not exact amounts. If you put a little effort into your ceremonies, then you'll be rewarded higher xp's for your ability to roleplay. This tends to get the priests a little more motivated in their tasks.
To become a healer in CSoR, you must register just like an Assassin or Priest. Once you apply and if you are accepted, you will receive a Healer number. This will be like the assassin and priest registration numbers. (See Contracts and Applications)
One you receive your reg #, make sure you have it in your profile. Then, every time you heal during a battle or such, log it and send it to the High Priest/ess. Each log must include your name and your registration number. The healer must be in the room before the combat starts in order to heal a combatant. Also in the log must be the terms and conditions of the fight. Each healer can only heal one during the combat.
Also, you CANNOT heal during a DM.
Those hps cannot be regained.
If you are unsure about anything here, contact VGiselleV
~ How To Heal ~
Healing is very simple. During a combat or such, the healer just does a healing action and rolls his/her CSoR dice, providing that it hasn't already been stated in the terms that there shall be no healing allowed. The amount of points he/she rolled is then stated for the log and subtracted from the damage of the person he/she healed. The persons damage may not go into the negatives. The least it can go to is 0 no matter what.
~XP Earned For Healing~
(For Non-Combatants only)
You take your dice and multiply it by how many points you healed their hps by.
For example, if you had 4d50 (70xp) and someone lost 15 /40 of their hps and you healed them to 45/40, you subtract the difference (30) and multiply it times your dice xp, which is 70 in this case, so you'd receive 210xp for the heal.
| Healer's Dice | XP Gained |
|---|---|
| d20-29 | 100xp |
| d30-39 | 90xp |
| d40-49 | 80xp |
| d50-59 | 70xp |
| d60-69 | 60xp |
| d70-79 | 50xp |
| d80-89 | 40xp |
| d90-99 | 30xp |
| d100 | 10xp |
~ Things You Should Know ~
Healers can be of any alignment.
They can either be a freelancer or of a CSoR guild.
Any race or breed can be a healer, but must use 2d when healing.
Non-Combative Healers may NOT be AA'd.
Non-combative means you can only fight Spars and such.
If you're Non-Combative, it must be stated in your profile.
This mean's no DM's, SM's, RM's, etc.
If you do fight it, then no XP will be awarded.
If the Proctor of any fight is a healer, they may not heal in that same fight.
~ Resurrections ~
Before the soul can enter the body it must be healed first, so the Healer goes first.
A Healer MUST be present during a rezz for it to be ruled valid.
Maximum number of Healers in a rezz will be three.
The reg. number of a Healer will be #CH200*???.
You must state the reg. number in a rezz along with your dice.
The Priest/ess will have already stated the rest of the info for you.
Format:
VGiselleV: ((#CH200*001, dice 2d99))
Don't forget, during a Rezz or heal, you'll only use 2d.
After that, you are ready to heal.
