A Good Friend

When all is lost, and there is noone around,
When you are so scared, you can't make a sound.
When all of life's troubles, pile on you,
When you want to break down, because your so blue.

When noone's around, for you to cry on,
When everyone you care for seems to be gone.
When everything goes so wrong you could cry,
When you need a friend on which you can rely.

I'll be there for you, when you need to talk,
Or if you just want to go for a walk
I'll be there to make you laugh when you cry,
I'll be that friend on which you can rely.

If you asked me to cry for you, I could,
If you needed me to die for you, I would.
I'll be your best friend if that's what you choose,
Because any other way, and we would lose.
