I am part of the darkness
Lost forever from light
Morning sun shines on the ground
I am the shadow that hangs around.

I am part of the darkness
Blinded by light
Never wanting, never desiring
Other than to fade and die.

I am part of the darkness
The darkness that you never see
Will you notice me
When I stand in the corner unseen?

I am part of the darkness
A silence that no one cares
Touch the ice that is my heart
Made of sins and night.

Part of the darkness that no one sees
Part of the illusion of the dream
A perfect world that is never mine
I stand alone at the side.

I am part of the darkness
Who can neither laugh nor cry
Eyes that hurt yet cannot cry
Alone, unseen, untouched.

I am part of the darkness
Lost forever from the world of light
Morning sun shines on the ground

Afterword:
This is what I call peculiar. Really really peculiar. It's also called
