I thought I knew the truth

Life's such a laugh sometimes
Like a sad fairy tale from beginning to end
Why do we live? Why do we die?
Somewhere up there lies the answers
Answers that I seek but will never know

The blue skies are now gray
Where is the sunshine? Where is the light?
Raindrops fall onto the earth
Like tiny silvers, a gift from heaven
I seek the answers to the question of life
