GAVIN: How happy can a New Year be when _you_ throw a love ballad at us?

ASTRAIA: No need to be so huffed up. Besides, it's good for publicity.

EVANGELINA: How can that be good for publicity? You're taking away the 
beautiful, wonderful, undoubtedly innocent, cute _me_ to pair up with 
Gavin, who doesn't even deserve to speak to me at all! Now all my fans 
will think that I'm his girlfriend!

MITSURU: Isn't that precisely why our ratings have been soaring? Our 
fans seem to think that you two make a cute couple.

EVANGELINA: WHAT?! I'd rather kiss a poisonous toad than to go out with 
_him_!

[She turns to Astraia, fuming.]

EVANGELINA: And you! What kind of manager are you?! You can't even stop 
those rumours from spreading like wildfire!

ASTRAIA: [coolly] Why should I? After all, the albums are being sold out 
at alarming rates because of this.

EVANGELINA: I don't care! You're getting rid of the rumours or you're 
fired!

ANDY: [softly] Evangelina, you can't fire Astraia. She's a senior agent 
and the Department Heads specifically sent her...

MITSURU: This girl doesn't know how it's like to die...

ASTRAIA: [smiling] I wouldn't do that, Mitsuru. She wasn't the one who 
shattered my crystal vase, was she?

[Mitsuru gulps nervously and turns away. Evangelina remains oblivious.]

EVANGELINA: I'm not going to stand for this! This is atrocious! My 
reputation is at stake here! Everyone knows that Gavin is a pervert and 
a psycho! What will my fans think of me?!

MITSURU: Gavin? A psycho? Astraia, is he really one?

ASTRAIA: [waves her hand] Doesn't matter. No one is theoretically sane 
in WSF.

ANDY: Mineral water, minna-san?

MITSURU: Me!

ASTRAIA: Pass one over here as well. I want all of you to rehearse this 
because it's going to be the final number for our show, is that clear?

[She surveys the four with stern amber eyes.]

[Gavin scans through the lyrics again and shudders.]

[Evangelina glares at him.]

EVANGELINA: Remember, I'm only doing this for WSF.
