This can be taken two ways.. about the Warlock Valtashien, or about me, his player. Well then, I just guess I'll have to do both...
 

      The Player:        Where should I begin? I was born in '82 in England, and in '94 I moved to the U.S. I didn't start playing AD&D until '96, but I've always enjoyed RPG's and that kind of thing. I quickly found a few friends who also played AD&D and we dug right in. Unfortunately I don't play with that group as much now, but luckily I'm in another group which is pretty new.. 3 novice players and 4 (not including me) people who have played before. In addition to playing AD&D, I also enjoy watching anime (here's a link to my little anime page), drawing, painting Warhammer and AD&D models, and basketball. That's about it for me...

      The Warlock:        I suppose this guy has a slightly more interesting life than me.. Valtashien is a human Necromancer who gets his spellcasting powers from an extraplanar creature (making him a Warlock). He's a fairly average looking man in his 20's, with long brown hair and green eyes. If it weren't for an ornately decorated cloak and robes, the casual observer wouldn't look at him twice. He's a nice enough guy, but works for his own goals whether it hurts anyone else or not. His goals, however, are not to hurt people, and he avoids it whenever possible. Unfortunately sometimes this can't be avoided. His alignment is Neutral Evil. Compared to the rest of the group, Valtashien is very quiet. Unlike some of the others who constantly vie for leadership, Valtashien is perfectly happy to take a back seat and offer advice if it can be helpful. He has no intention, nor reason, to try to control the group's actions. In regards to his adventuring career, he's an amateur at best (he is currently 7th level). While he is by no means powerful, he can think up ideas on the spot which often prove useful. One of the things Valtashien hates is Munchkinism. He simply cannot stand by and watch an act of Munchkinism without doing something. That "something" ranges from casting a humorous and humiliating spell on the Munchkin to running away quickly before the Munchkin turns on him. I'll put up a character sketch of Valtashien as soon as I can come up with a good one.
