Are promises ment to be broken, are dreams
              just the minds eye to fantasy. I have no reason
                            to belive otherwise
               promises are so easily given and just as
              easily broken
                When promises are broken so are dreams
                                      So are hearts
              But with me i take promises with a grain of salt
                for never has a promise been kept to me
                            And I never expect to be
               The only promise that has been kept is of love
                       And oh how my heart would break if it was
                                ever broken
