I hope this letter finds both the Amir-Al and his Queen in good spirits and good health. First, allow me to congratulate the both of you upon your nuptials. I am certain that your union shall be a long and prosperous one for both the Chosen People and all of Aether. I am called Thomas, and I am writing this upon the behalf of the first free peoples to seek shelter in the new kingdom of Arelate. However, the journey which we are now prepared to undertake will not be easy. Without education, training, and assistance, that journey will be made all the more difficult, perhaps even deadly. I am aware that the Amir-Al had an active hand in creating this potential for our peoples, and it was my hope that his hand could continue to aid us in these endevours.

This moment represents a great turning point in the history of Aether. Towards this end, I would like to arrange a meeting with an emissary of the Varati Kingdom, so that we might discuss these topics, and any others which the Amir-Al may wish to broach. We may be found North of Haven, near the wood's edge, on the border of the Sylvan lands. Our passage to the western kingdom shall begin within a week's time, and it is my sincerest desire to meet with the Varati before that time. It is also my sincerest desire that the Amir-Al and his Queen share the dream of a land where all free men can truly have a place to call home.
