I am well aware of the quick approach of Forum Annorum, and the activities surrounding this joyful festival. Tritonis has, indeed, been busy preparing. We are currently sponsoring Petra Tritonides in her inventor's bid, though certainly not averse to sponsoring more than one inventor.

The Imphada Jasira has already contacted me regarding her sponsorship, and I only asked one simple thing from her which I would ask of you, too. I ask to have her come to mine house here in Palladium, to meet with me, and discuss this idea of hers. I do not have the strength, of late, to foray much beyond Palladium - indeed it has been months since I have seen this dear city - otherwise I might be able to meet with her at a more welcoming place. I can provide guard for her, should she be disinclined to visit Palladium - and I am sure the Imperator shan't mind her presence, with due notice.

I haven't, 'nor will I ever, attempted to sever the ties between you and your family. Indeed relations are only what you can make of them - but I am not the type of Matriarch who will put aside any member of the family. The Deus Maximus has sent me a copy of the missive which you sent him, and I am aware of his stance regarding this manner.

However, sponsorship of inventions at the Forum Annorum is via House rather than via individuals. Thus, my sponsorship and that of my House are the same in the eyes of the Empyre. Thus, in order for your invention to be fully supported by House Tritonides, it will be necessary for you to meet with Dea Kalypso Tritonides at her abode in the Palladium to discuss and demonstrate your invention. Guards can and will be provided, should you feel wary of travelling into the Palladium. Should affairs of state allow, I shall also be in attendance during this meeting.
