Throughout the ages, It is hard to find anyone as important in the history of Raokrá (except for Ascal Merloth, of course) as the Lords of Soul and steel, they were warriors and wizards who defeated Oyabun Sao Diasonori during the year of the dead, stopped Rao and the seneschals of chaos during the great cataclysm, and had many adventures during their long lives. Becoming perhaps the greatest heroes in the history of Raokrá, compared only by Ascal himself.

The Lords of Soul and Steel were born sometime before the year of the dead, and raised to great power in just a few decades, calling the attencion of the council of Immortals itself, who saw them as powerful pawns within the cosmic game that is played in Raokrá. Nevertheless, the Lords hardly ever owed alligiance to any of the powerful beings within the council.

They were more like uneasy allies than partners, fighting amongst themselves as much as together throughout history, sometimes commanding great armies against one another; their battles are remembered in the songs and poems of the bards of all the lands.

Some of the human Lords lived for more than 180 years, using several magical and supernatural methods, including the tree of life of ascan legend. Without further preamble, the following is a small document containing the names and some facts about the Lords of Soul and Steel, the Great and Notorious.
