I was born in Wehnimer's Landing, though I never called it my home. As soon as I could walk I entered the wilds. I was a wild child, my senses sharper then most. I followed a puma for a very long time and learned how to move from it. It seemed to consider me a member of its family. It never attacked me, and it seemed to do things repeatedly until I had shown I could do them.
I walk on my toes, my heels landing after my toes unlike most people do. I identify people by scent more easily then sight, rarely turning to greet someone if they are upwind of me. I live in the night, coming out during the day hard for me. I traded enough skins to get some equipment to make things easier. I lived in the wilds a long time. I prowled my range as the cat I was, interacting with civilization as little as possible.
One day I noticed odd happenings, an occasional scent that was carried by the wind, rustlings where none should have been. Not sure of the cause I decided to head to Landing as I needed to trade for some new leatherwork. After dealing with that many people and being told there would be a delay for my goods, I decided to get away from people and went to the gardens in town. There I found the cause of the odd happenings.
I heard a giggle from behind me and saw a woman emerge from the shadows. She behaved like a cat, with all the poise and grace expected of one. Her toned body was lithe and she moved swiftly to try and take control. Her forward assault made deflection easy, a few words of banter making her forget what she was doing from one moment to the next. She apparently felt I should follow her because she said to and finally got so frustrated she attacked me. I quickly dodged, moved behind her and grabbed her in a bear hug, lifting her from her feet and locking her arms to her sides.
After fighting futiley for a minute or two, she glared at me thru her hair. I let her down and she made ready to stalk off. Intrigued I stopped her and asked her to come to my den to talk. After getting some wine we went to a secluded table instead and discussed our lives. We both decided we would make good mates for each other and even with her peculiar traditions I see us staying together forever.
