Shondrya Locklorr

Hello,

My name is Shondrya Locklorr,

My life began with my pride. I was born the daughter of the prides leader. We lived as lions, our members all deferring to the leader. We were few so only the strongest males mated. Each year father held fights to determine which males would produce the strongest offspring to insure the growth in our numbers. Last year during the yearly fights for mating, a horde of fire rats infested our caverns and the plague they carried decimated my tribe. Warcats also depleted us until there was no longer enough to stay together. My tribe scattered to the winds, each member looking for a pride to join.

I also went in search of a new pride. I was passing a large settlement when a scent caught my attention. After tracking the source to a person I followed him. His movements were quick and agile, and he carried an air of authority and leadership about him like someone would don a cloak. His rugged features were handsome and he was very fit.

Unaware of me, I followed him for most of the day. Careful to hide my presence, I decided to form my own pride, my bloodline pure enough to found one. I decided this man would be the first of my new pride.

He entered a large settlement with a look of distaste on his face, as though just entering it was a chore. He entered a gardened area after entering several shops and I decided to tell him his place then. I instantly sought to dominate him, showing him his proper subservient position. He responded with playful banter and sidestepped my intentions easily. When I tried to physically restrain him he moved with all the speed and reflexes I would have expected and more, defending himself and moving with confidence. Unable to force him I thought of leaving, but he asked me to go to his den and talk.

He introduced himself as Geshtai Myriss and bought us some wine, quickly moving out of the crowd with a sigh of relief and going to a table in a secluded corner. Geshy seemed as intrigued by me as I had been of him and we decided we would make good mates for each other. His ways seem a little strange to me, I am used to a pride where he is more accustomed to cats being alone or in a mated pair being the norm. What happens next will depend on if he can keep me.

Animals are put on earth to teach us unconditional love
