This is no ordinary Game Boy Color game, it requires much strategy and thinking. You'll need to have great skill with playing Pokémon the Card Game to get through this game easily. Really the only skill needed to play the game, is the skill to put the catridge in the Game Boy.

That's right folks -- it teaches you how to play. Wow! It's amazing! It actually explains it very well too though. You start out playing the CG as a beginner, but as you beat (hopefully ^_^) many trainers, your skills will greatly enhance. You will make many new and better decks, learn good strategy from other trainers, and become a pokémon card master! That is if you are good enough, and rank upon the best of the best. (Oh and if you need help making a good card deck -- there's much to choose from on my Killer Decks section)

Now, you want to know how to beat the game right? Well there are two ways. I've completed one way, and am working on the other. The first way is to beat all the colleseums. Theres one for each type -- and more! It is very challenging on some, and you should change your deck around to base it around that colleseum.

When you beat all the colleseums, you now play the best players on the island. Just kind of think of them as "The Elite 5." When you defeat them, a surprise awaits. Do you think I'm gonna spoil it for you? Of course not! Duh!

The second way is to collect every single card. Boy is it hard -- but I'm sure it's worth it. I still don't know what happens. I only have collected about 102 cards of about 150 in total.

Oh I forgot to tell you, to get cards you have to get boosters. There ae many different kinds of booster packs. One of my favorites is "Secret of the Evolution" which contains mostly evolution cards.

The sound in the game is great too. The music varies from battles and can make you think the battle is very important, or merely a small trainer wanting to battle!
