These mythical creatures are known by having the head, forelegs and wings of an eagle, and the hindquarters, tail and occasionally ears of a lion.their long, sharp talons and ferocity in battle. Gryphons are known as having the head, forelegs and wings of an eagle, and the hindquarters, tail and occasionally ears of a lion. Their giant wings let them fly great distances with ease. Although many people mistake them as being unintelligent, Gryphons' strength lies in their minds which allow them to think of strategies and maneuvers when they are fighting.
