Mind Games
(My Ultmimate Magic Deck... so far.)
Alright people, this is my best deck so far... because it has everything I want in it... creature stopper, counter, fire and burn, surprise, buybacks, leaving your opponent wondering about your next move, and most of all... IT'S ANNOYING!!! Note: Devised from The Sparkler... cept better.
The Lands (22)
The Burn, aka Red (14)
The Counter, aka Blue (22)
Mind Game Helper, aka Artifacts (2)
Cards that may be helpful to use to edit this deck:
Part 1 (The Counter)
This is easy enough... you stop the key cards in their decks with all the freaking counters you have... not to mention big, fat creatures that could ruin your day.
Part 2 (The Burn)
Now here's where you have to make the decision... either burn him/her... or burn his creatures and make em go eeeek!! But really, would you use a fireball to kill a 1/1 creature, huh? Just takes common sense.
Part 3 (Creature Stopper)
Alright, the key card that helped me with this is Ensnaring Bridge... man, that card is so powerful with this deck, cause all you mostly have are instants and interrupts. If you're in trouble, dump your hand and wait for the big fireball... he's/she's toast! Use Lightning Bolts (Shock) to keep pesky Knights, Spectors, and Elves from pissing you off. Pyroclasm can really ruin a weenie-creature-deck's day. Propaganda really sets your opponent back in mana, because for every creature that attacks, he/she needs to pay 2 mana...hehe... another weenie-creature-deck depressor (lemme see... you attack with those three White Knights... sure, 6 damage to me... 6 mana lost for you). Also, Quicksand could help you with an early ground defense... -1/-2 can kill off most weenie creatures.
Part 4 (The Draw)
You got a lot of cards that let you draw cards... I mean, even Disrupt, the cheap counter lets you counter your opponent's card, while drawing a card to keep those counters coming. One word that will help you against discard decks... Jayemdae Tome.
Overview of your Goals
Most of all, have fun....hehe.
If you like this deck, e-mail me and tell me so... if not, suggest how you would improve it. Until next time, I'll find more ways of annoying your opponents.
