Sailor Moon is an action-comedy Americanized Anime. It's about 5 teenage girls who gain special powers.
Over a thousand years ago, each scout was once a princess of their respected planet. But when Queen Metalia, Beryl and the Negaverse attacked the Moon Kingdom the Scouts were killed. Queen Serenity using the full power of the Silver Imperium Crystal defeated the Negaverse and sent the souls of the slain scouts and her daughter Princess Serena (Princess Serenity as I've also heard) to Earth with her faithful and wise feline advisors, Luna and Artemis. But dispeling the amount of energy to do all of this was too much for the Queen, she died. The story takes place on modern Earth, after Luna finally found Serena (Sailor Moon) the adventure begins....
