Friends Of Mylia and the Roases

Wyldcard---The first male she ever trusted after her horrible experiences with her birth clan and then the Underdark, Wyldcard has seemed to always be there to help when Mylia was in need. He rescued her from a horrible fate in the UnderDark and led her to the safety of the surface world. Once there he taught her how to fight and how to defend herself. She soon became a great warrior and on some occassions was fortunate to beat her teacher in one of their many spars. She and her shield brother soon had to part ways because they each had a different task in their lives they had to deal with. At fourteen years of age, Mylia pledged her heart to Wyldcard, but never hoped to hear him say the same to her....but recently recieved the words she had waited five years to hear when Wyldcard resurfaced to rescue her and protect her once again. Wyldcard and Mylia are now married and as usual still fight side by side.   He is her life, her heart and her soul.  They have been through a great many things together, and Wyldcard has been put at risk more than once from her way of life.  Although it pains him to see his beloved wife go through so much pain and despair from those she seeks to protect, he would never leave her side.  He doesn't agree with her in everything she does, but he supports whatever decisions she makes, and more than once it was his wise council that kept the fiery Mylia from rushing headlong into battle, heedless of the consequences.  Mylia has made it known that the day Wyldcard falls to death in any of the constant wars they fight will be the day that Mylia Roase falls as well.  However, with Mylia missing and presumed dead, Wyldcard has gone almost insane with grief and married another.  Now as the fires of the hell realm of Sheol blaze with anger that their prize has escaped them, Mylia lies in state in the home of a Drow matron.  What will happen when Mylia and Wyldcard see each other again?  Only the three fates spinning their threads know and they will not say.  The only clue that they will give is that nothing will ever be the same again.  As for the woman married to the true love of Mylia Roase Scorn?  The fates say this much..."We pity the poor thing.  For the soul of the Wyldcard belongs only to one woman.  As does her soul belong to him...."

Ancelin---The brother she didn't remember she had, Mylia first became aware of him when she and Calek returned to the land of her birth to take care of some family affairs. Ancelin didn't treat her at all like she had expected. Instead of hating her like the rest of the clan did for the things she had done as a young girl, his love for his little sister was unconditional...and it was revealed to her that it had been Ancelin who had helped to free her from the Fire Lords and sent her to Kirynii. Mylia and Ancelin are seperated again...but she looks forward to once more seeing her brother and getting to know him.

Boreal---The first non-vampire and female friend that Mylia met after coming to Arangoth. Boreal was one of the few "humans" and other creatures that did not judge Mylia for being a vampire or for her warrior spirit, although Boreal has often told her that she has too much honor. Whereas Mylia has the realm of fire magic at her hands, Boreal holds the ice magic within her...and surprisingly the conflicting magics do not have adverse affects on the other. In fact, it was because of Boreal that ice magic doesn't do deadly damage to Mylia any longer. Told by the Watcher Maeve that they had been sisters in another life, Mylia and Boreal seem to have a soul link that they take very seriously. Mylia and Boreal have both sworn to the other to protect each other...and make any that hurt them rue the day that they drew breath on this world...Boreal has withdrawn to lead a quiet life with her husband and child, but all Mylia has to do is call upon her and Boreal will immediately come to the aid of her sister, as she has shown so recently by coming to Mylia when members of the family would have cast her out for something she could not control.  Boreal doesn't take too kindly to people who cause her soulsister any amount of pain and will not hesitate to punish them...whether they are family or not.  Boreal has tried several times to convince Mylia to leave the things that cause her so much anguish and come to live a quiet life with her.  So far Mylia has been too much the warrior and duty bound person to give that idea much thought.  However Boreal knows that it is only a matter of time before Mylia is pushed too far and she turns her back on those that continuously hurt her and cause her trouble.

Callista---Mylia first met Callista in the VampirePub and they became friends. Later, however, when Mylia lay dying from her battle with TheNobody, it was Callista who made sure that Mylia wouldn't die. By giving Mylia half of her life force, Mylia was able to live. Callista and Mylia share thoughts, emotions and what one feels, the other does as well. Both have the tattoo of a Phoenix on their upper thigh. Mylia is very loyal to her twin...and often wishes that she was as strong as Callista. Mylia will almost always take Callista's side in a fight...and knows that Callista would never willingly let anything happen to her. Mylia and Callista make a deadly fighting team...and anyone who survives a shared rage with the twins counts themselves undeniably lucky...Recently however, Mylia's whole life changed and her world was ripped apart. Callista ready to commit suicide, severed the link with Mylia--- AFTER transferring all of her remaining power into Mylia. Mylia convinced her sister not to kill herself, but before the link could be restored Callista fell to the sword of the Dragon King ^Alyosha^.  However, Mylia is unaware that her sister is dead as she herself is a prisoner in the kingdom of Sheol....

^Memnoch^---Capable of great or cruelty or of great love, he is ^Memnoch^, the devil and ruler of the realms of hell.  Mylia first met Memnoch, whom she lovingly calls "Mem", through his daughter Angelic and his son _Avenger_.  No one knows how it came to pass, but Mylia felt a great fondness for ^Memnoch^, especially after she stumbled into his Vampyrepub wet, bloody and muddy, and fleeing from an assassin.  ^Memnoch^ took her in, helped her get cleaned up and they sat and talked for a long time until Mylia decided she had to return to her husband, Calek, and the rest of the family.  Shortly after that, Mem told Mylia that he loved her dearly, and although they were both bound to someone else, he would always love her.  Mylia and ^Memnoch^ stayed dear friends...something that was almost destroyed, along with the love they shared when his daughter Angelic died.  Knowing that her friend's rage would be great, Mylia went to him and begged him to spare the life of her family.  He said he would, if Mylia became his concubine.  Having just lost her husband to death, Mylia was devestated by this request, but agreed.  However, this arrangement didn't last very long and Mylia and ^Memnoch^ maintained their bond of mutual love and respect.  Mylia has only witnessed Memnoch's rage once and it was enough to make her wish she never has to witness it again.  Tragically, she was on the recieving end of his rage and it almost destroyed everything.  Because of a misunderstanding and a forced infidelity, ^Memnoch^ went into a rage and condemned Mylia to the fires of hell.  Luckily, the real circumstances were revealed and Mylia and ^Memnoch^ made up, although the consequences from that one act of rage were slow in fading completely.  However, as testament to ^Memnoch^'s undying love for Mylia, when she was killed by the demon Baatezu and Black Velvet brought her body to ^Memnoch^, the fierce and sometimes feared devil did something out of pure love.  He raised Mylia back from the dead, and made her his Queen of Hell.  He recently gave her his blessing to marry Wyldcard, however, he did extract the promise from her that if her and her husband's marriage ever fell apart, or she became a widow, the two of them would wed.  This promise made, ^Memnoch^ and Mylia are as close as ever, and each know that they can rely on the other in any time of need.  In fact, ^Memnoch^ has still not given up the search for his beloved Mylia who disappeared just over a year ago.

StormCrow---A dear friend and someone Mylia has always been able to go to in times of need.  She met StormCrow in the #VampyrePub and they have been friends ever since.  Not much is known about him, and it has never occured to Mylia to ask him any questions, for she understands the nature of having secrets about your past.  Secretive or not, StormCrow has always been there when Mylia needed someone, and she has been there for him.  Now, StormCrow is one of the ones still searching for his beloved friend although others seem to think she is dead or never returning.
