The Look Of A Matriarch

When one first sees Mylia, you don't think of her as someone in power who rules a whole clan. That is, until her family gathers around her and you hear them speak respectfully to her. She is not tall, but as you watch her you see that the sheer power in her stance and her voice is what commands those around her. Her words are soft, but there seems to be an undercurrent of steel in everything she says...no matter if you are friend or foe...she is obviously someone NOT to be trifled with or underestimated.

She looks like she couldn't be more than eightteen, but many people treat her as if she were much older and wiser. She looks like a harmless teenage girl...until she feels threatened by your presence.

Prepared for Business: When Mylia dresses for business or war meetings, she usually looks the following way. She is dressed in black leather armor, a phoenix tattoo showing clearly on her right thigh. She has a long black glove on her right arm and a long white glove on her left arm. She wears a pair of katanas on her back, a gold sword on her right hip, a silver dagger on her thigh. A black dagger peeks out of her boot. Her burgundy hair swings free, one strand encrusted with jewels and a tiny silver braid hangs along her face. There is a tattoo of a blazing fire around her left eye.She wears the badge of Brujah primogen, the Roase family crest, and a silver primogen ring on her right hand. There is a black and silver ring on her left ringfinger. The shape of another ring is seen under the fabric of the glove. As she looks around her eyes turn a soft silver. There is a pouch at her waist and other jewelery along her body. Her indigo eyes seem to take in everything and as you watch her eyes turn silver.

Playing the Part: Mylia is the reluctant Queen of Firefall and the Firelords. When called on to do service as their Queen and attend rituals, she is careful to dress in her ritualistic FireLord uniform. She wears a short scarlet sleeveless dress with red thigh boots. The phoenix tattoo shows on her thigh quite clearly. Her wine red hair is braided for battle and a thick jewel-decorated strand hangs free. Her indigo eyes burn with fire and the tattoo around her left eye seems to dance as the light reflects off of the ruby chips in it. The cursed fireblood ruby blazes in a silver collar around her throat. She has a sword fastened to her back and a red dagger on her thigh. There is a long black glove on her right arm, and a long white glove on her left arm. She wears the badge of Brujah primogen, the Roase family crest, and a ring of office on her right hand. A black and silver ring encircles a finger on her left hand. The shape of another ring is seen under the white glove.

Ready For War: When Mylia was freed from the influence of a demon, she sat in Daemocian's Pyromid and cried. Her tears turned to rubies as they hit the floor. She cried for a long time and the rubies started piling up. When she was done, she picked up only one...and left the rest for her son, Trylyn. He then made the famous Ruby Roase armor. Only members of the Roase family that have proven themselves as warriors have been awarded this armor by Trylyn...Mylia was the first to recieve it. When she is ready for a battle or war, she dresses carefully in the armor and weaponry. She wears her full body Roase ruby armor, and carrying her helm under her arm. Her hair hangs down her back and her eyes are feral. She wears her katanas NightFire and Dark|Ice on her back and the gold sword, SoulStealer on her hip. A black cloak hangs from her shoulders and the black and white gloves are in place. The air seems to be heated around her and her face is expressionless.

Chain Of Command:When the demon Baatezu killed her, Mylia's daughter Black Velvet took her to the one person she knew would restore her mother back to life...^Memnoch^ who loved her. He brought her back alright...as Queen of Hell...and her look isn't all that has changed. She is now seen wearing (most of the time) all black with a black leather jacket and a pair of black motorcycle gloves. She wears a dagger on her hip and a pair of mirrored shades that hide her eyes. Her burgundy hair swings free to her waist but now it is streaked with black as well. Her face is smooth with no expression on it at all. She wears no jewelery that is seen (and that doesn't mean she isn't wearing any), but her dagger changes colors every so often. At times she will slip her glasses down her nose, her eyes their normal indigo shade but with streaks of silver running from the pupil to the outer eye in a sunburst fashion.

Mylia's look changes as often as her mood. She is fiercely loyal and protective of her family and loved ones and takes being Primogen of the Brujah VERY seriously. Although, in trying to protect her family and friends, she tends to get herself into more trouble than she can handle.

When you see Mylia, if she seems alone, be careful how you approach her. There is no guarantee that she is EVER alone. After all, the devil, the lord of the shadows, the dragon king, and the high king of the fae are all in love with her. Never assume she is alone.

If you see her with her family, you should be even more cautious. The Roases are very protective of their Matriarch and are wary of strangers.
