Married in Roma Texas by Father L.M. Planchet, Catholic priest (certified copy of marriage licence obtained from Starr county).
As of 1858 he is listed in the Starr County tax rolls as having lot #6 block 36, in Rio Grande City valued at $600.00. He is also listed as having 4 horses and a cart. Ettiene Cenac bought 3 other parcels of land from a man named Slaughter and paid taxes in 1855.
