For the 16-bits Akklaim made a wonderful translation of the arcade game Mortal Kombat. The Nintendo Coporation however has something against violence however, and they ``toned it down`` as ABC would say. So the Genisis`s mortal kombat was better, although for some of the sound, it was an exact translation of the arcade. When Akklaim made MKII they busted threw Nintendos limits, making better sound, more gore, all the fatalities, no codes no sweat. Just Mortal Kombat II. It was superior to the Genisis, but either of `em are worth the buy. The same thing with MKIII, but this time, Midway the new clamers of MK consoles, slipped in a PlayStaion version the third time around.

The PS-X and SS did get alot, but the PS-X still reigned supreme. Mortal Kombat II was on the Sega Saturn, not the PS-X, BUT the PS-X MK III, while Sega didn`t. They both however got MK Trilogy, and they were exact. MK Trilogy featured all the villians of the originals, and a little more. The Chameleon, who changed into all the ninjas. That was pretty cool. The PS-X got MK IV and the upcoming MK special forces. Unfortuneatly, Dreamcast has a big trick up its sleeve.
