Incubus/Succubus: Much like a spirit or demonic entity, this creature sexually predates on men and women while they are sleeping. It is not clear if the incubus prolongs its life by feeding off these sexual energies, which would make it a type of vampire, but the victim will die from the attack. It is linked to vampires and sometimes thought to be one, but since it is not an animated corpse, it is not historically wholly a vampire.

Impundulu: Africa. A Vampiric servant of a witch in Africa's eastern Cape region. It was usually passed down from mother to daughter and took the form of a handsome man. It would become a lover to its mistress, and she would use it to inflict suffering on her enemys.
