My Pledge
I pledge to you all that I am,
all that I will ever be,
and all that I have been.
I open my hands to you
therin lies my life
spread before you
for the taking.
To you I open my heart,
filling it with you
creating a new life,
as it beats for your words.
I open my soul to you
accepting the wings you have made
upon which it will soar
on the air of your breath.
To you I open my body
resting in a field of dream
awaiting your use
responding only to your touch.
I open my spirit to you
so that its rainbow colors will wrap
and embrace us
feeding itself of your warmth.
To you I open my mind,
freeing it to follow your lead
thought, idea and dream within
dancing only to your tune.
I open my lips to you
to speak, or not to speak
to feed, or not to feed
and to kiss your hand, sealing my pledge.
Again, I pledge to you - all that I am,
all that I will be,
and all that I have ever been...
I pledge all, and more in what is yet to be....
