The Elerian Race


This is the information and stats you will need if you want to make your character Elerian. I made this race my self and it is bound to have a few flaws, but you can still use it if you want to. They represent a peaceful and technologically advanced race that may be added as an enemy, or an ally.

Special Abilities

Telepathy: Any Elerian born within Elerian space may choose telepathy as a special skill. This can be used to scan minds, block scans, implant images or thoughts into target, or to communicate without talking. Time to use 1+ round/s. How to use: you must first see if you can get into their minds. If they don't know your doing it, its automatic, if they do you must make a roll (explained later). If they don't know your doing it, once your in they can dectect you. Non-telepaths roll Knowledge to detect you, telepaths roll knowlege added to telepathy. Once they know your in their mind they can fight you. Non-telpaths roll 1D to fight you, telepaths use their skill. They number rolled is used like a dodged and is added to your target number. Target numbers are, V. easy-1 meter, Easy-3 meters, Moderate-6 meters, Difficult-not with line of site, but within a 40 meter radius, or still within line of site, Very Difficult- No LOS within 60 meter radius, Heroic- within 80 meter radius. Rolls only used if the telepath scan you, telepaths can pick up casual thoughts at a radius of 5 meters, with an easy roll.

Defence Sheild: Time to use 1 round, Difficulty easy. Any Elerian has the ability to raise a sheild of energy from there body. Againts lasers, this is useless, but in melee or brawling this ability causes 4D stun and adds 1D to there defence. The energy can travel through the weapon and hit the target always doing 4D stun. This may only be used in defence, in used for any other reason the character gets a darkside point. It last 5 rounds and may be used again. After battle the character must rest for 10 minutes, if used more than once and 15 minutes for each additional use. If the character doesn't rest they get a +10 to all target numbers.

Information

The Elerians originated on Eleria Prime the 3rd planet of 7 in there solar system, around 28 billion years ago. Each Elerian has an average life span of 3,700 years. Having an ancient and diverse culture, they are idealist. That changed when they met the Empire. They gained space travel millions of years before this incident and had explored most of there galaxy. Having a large peice of it carved out for them selves and having many allies they were content to stay quite and allow there cities to grow. Then they found the wormhole. A large spatial anomally which allowed much faster speeds of travel than any one will ever achive, but it only toke them to one place, a system on the outer edge of the Empire. Seeing the opertunity to make new allies they went forth in peace and were brutaly killed. Now engraged and seeking vengance, the war machines on there planets turn out many new battle crusiers and fighters to crush the Empire. Though fewer in number the Elerians are on a mission that they will not give up until they have seen the last member of the Empire dead.
This race is technologically more advanced then the Empire but are vastly outnumbered. Any Elerian seen in the Empire is to be killed quickly, and in most cases, more import to kill that rebels. The only Elerians in Imperial space are advanced scouts and spies that are studying the culture and defences of there enemy. Though enraged they still believe in peace and will not kill civilians. The Empire has no such ethics. They have found the wormhole and are determined to win, at any cost. PC'S that are Elerian will have cosmetic changes made to them to appear human to compleate there task. Once the war starts they can either continue there mission, or lose there changes and join the fighting. Elerians look much like humans to begin with but have long pionted ears, are more slim and graceful, have darker colored eyes and odder shades of hair (any color), they must hide these features to live in human socitey.
