**This form of Service is intended for those who are about to set out for Mission Work in other lands.

**Our Lord sent forth His disciples to preach the Gospel and heal the sick (Matthew 10; Mark 6: 7; Luke 9 and 10). We are asked to sow the seed at morning, at noonday and when the shadows fall, and to leave the harvest in Higher Hands (Zodiac). This is the theme of the Service.

IN the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

HEAVENLY FATHER, we know that through Thy love all creeds and races of mankind are blended together into one great family to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. We pray Thee to strengthen the endeavours of all missionaries who go into other lands to bring the light of Thy Truth to those who are in the darkness of doubt. Grant that through the words they use, and the love in their hearts, they may be able to take to all men the beauty and the peace of Thy Son's teaching. Inspire them by Thy Holy Spirit, uplift them by Thy Heavenly Grace and strengthen them with Thy Holy Power, that they may go forth into the Mission Field to spread Thy work of Truth and Love. Amen.

OUR FATHER, Who art in Heaven, all hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. When in temptation Thy love sustains us, and deliver us from evil. For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory. For ever and for ever. Amen.

LET US PRAY

HEAVENLY FATHER, we thank Thee for instilling into so many hearts the desire to spread Thy Gospel in far-off lands. We ask Thy blessing upon this our brother/sister who is about to go forth to labour in the Mission field. We pray that Thy love and guidance may go with him/her to strengthen him/her, and to bring success to his/her work. Enrich him/her with Thy Heavenly Love and give to him/her health, patience and endurance. In love we send him/her forth to this harvest field, praying that through his/her ministry many may be brought to the knowledge of Eternal Life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

A PRAYER FOR MISSIONARIES ABROAD

O CHRIST, Whose disciples were commanded to go forth and carry the Gospel of Love to all nations, we ask Thy blessing upon our brethren in other lands, who are seeking to work among those of different races. Let Thy Holy Spirit descend with such power that these valiant souls, who have gone forth, perhaps on a lonely path, may be encouraged, strengthened and directed in their efforts; and that, wherever they may be, Thy Spirit may be made manifest in their hearts, and in their ministry to heal and to save. Amen.
