     Knocking, he waited for the door to open.
     The door opened...
     Before Mulder could even say anything, he was pulled headlong into 
the apartment and shoved against the door, Scully holding him tight in 
her arms.  Then, she kissed him.  
     After overcoming his surprise, he hugged her back, which was then he
noticed the song playing on Scully's stereo, as well as the fact she was
singing along. 

  "Love, love me do.
   You know I love you,
   I'll always be true,
   So please, love me do.
   Whoa, love me do."

    She pulled him further into her living room and started dancing with 
him.  When the shock wore off, he grinned and pulled her into his arms.  
He also sang along.
   
  "Love, love me do.
   You know I love you,
   I'll always be true,
   So please, love me do.
   Whoa, love me do.
   
   Someone to love,
   Somebody new.
   Someone to love,
   Someone like you."

     "I love you, Dana... and I'm sorry."
     "I love you too, Fox."
   
  "Love, love me do.
   You know I love you,
   I'll always be true,
   So please, love me do.
   Whoa, love me do."

     They stood clasped together and sang the last verse.
   
  "Love, love me do.
   You know I love you,
   I'll always be true,

     WHen the song faded, Scully stepped over, pulling Mulder with her, 
turning off the CD player, she pushed him down to the sofa and then sat 
in his lap.
     "Let's not fight anymore."
     "Can't promise we won't..."
     "True.  But let's make the effort."
     "Okay."
     Scully paused for a moment, looking into Mulder's eyes.
     "Fox... how about..."
     Her voice trailed off as Mulder lips met hers.
