Rating: G, MSR, S Summary: It's Mother's Day. Mulder and the kids decide to surprise Scully. Good Day Sunshine (Lennon/McCartney) Dana Scully turned over in bed, reaching out a hand to search for her husband. Blearily, she raised her head from the pillow when her hand hit empty bed. She heard the sound of footsteps, small and soft, running away from the open bedroom door and down the stairs. Blinking a few more times, she yawned and stretched as she heard music begin. The source of the music, she recognised, was the intercom system which was piping the music up from the entertainment system downstairs. "Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine I need to laugh and when the sun is out I've got something I can laugh about I feel good in a special way I'm in love and it's a sunny day" "Happy Mother's Day, Mommy!" A little boy's voice, accompanied by those same small, soft footsteps before there was a thump and a leap, and a little boy with dark hair, hazel eyes, and her own smile jumped onto the bed. His hair looked still uncombed, and he was still in his Marvin the Martian pajamas. "Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine We take a walk, the sun is shining down Burns my feet as they touch the ground Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine" "Happy Mother's Day, Momma." a little girl's voice spoke from the doorway before she too landed on the bed, a bundle of red hair, green eyes, and purple cotton nightshirt. The little boy giggled as his sister reached over and tickled him on his bare feet. "I'm gonna get ya David..." she teased in a tone she'd learned from her father. "Then we'd lie beneath the shady tree I love her and she's loving me She feels good, she knows she's looking fine I'm so proud to know that she is mine." She could hear Mulder's soft voice singing as he came up the stairs. "Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine" "Happy Mother's Day, Scully." he smiled at her. "Michelle and David kinda decided to run ahead of me." Mulder leaned down and kissed his wife on the lips. "Eeew!" said both children at once upon seeing their parents and Fox Mulder and Dana Scully(Mulder) started to laugh. After putting the tray down on the bed, they all crowded around for the traditional 'Mommy's Breakfast in Bed'. Grandma (both of them) would be arriving around 11 for lunch. -the end...-
