Duties of New Tribunal Members
(Guidelines for applying players)
"There are those that seek power for its own sake... too blind to see what lies ahead. Do not invite this fate upon yourself..."
This is not a position to be taken lightly, those that apply and are accepted will be representing their respective Tradition's interest in the Chantry, as well as ascting as ambassadors and examples of the Chantry's Fellows in general. In addition, there are a few OOC responsibilities that go with the position.
The applicant player is expected and required to be responsible for the following standards and tasks:
- Leadership (IC)
- Obviously, this means in one's own Tradition, you are considered a leading example, avoid scandalous behavior and other things that your respecive peers are likely to look down upon, or worse, imitate.
- Legislation (IC)
- As a member of Keris' Tribunal, you are the part of the governing body responsible for making law and policy in Keris Chantry.
- Judiciary (IC)
- In addition to making the laws of the Chantry, you are also called on to decide the sentencing of those who offend the Chantry's laws.
- Game Rules Enforcement(OOC)
- Arguably even more crucial than the other three. Basically you are deputized as knowledgable players set to police Ashland's Mages for rules violations, the most notable being lack of compliancy with Paradox rules. As such, the position comes with a Chat Moderator status attached to it to facilitate dealing with violations. The responsiblity of dealing with power on the chat fairly is also implied in the whole package.
All of the above responsibilities are expected to be carried out with a good proportion of commitment.
As well as all the above, the player must be comitted to responsible roleplaying and must have similar convictions about spending signifigant amounts of time playing the Tribunal character.

Presuming a Tribunal Seat is open, the process for application is as follows below:
