Munchkin Suicide?
There is a story about a munchkin
hanging himself in the Wizard of Oz, over
the love of another munchkin or he was
fired. The rumors are that he loved a female
"munchkin" and she did not feel the same
way ,so he hanged himself. Also that he was
fired and could not handle it and hanged
himself on the set.
You are suppose to be able to see him
hanging in the background
of where Dorothy and the Scarecrow meet
and free the Tin Man and the Wicked
Witch is throwing fire at them. You supposedly
can see in the background
a shape moving, or swinging.
What that object swinging or moving
really is, is a bird. The set borrowed, birds from the
zoo to make the woods look more realistic.
There is no way that there is a munchkin
was hanging in the background, for the
simple reason that all the scenes with
the Munchkins were not shot until
after that scene.
