The next night came quickly. Remy made the two mile walk again. Only this time he left around midnight so he would get there after everyone was asleep.
When he got there all the lights were off. He slipped past all of the security systems easily, and picked the lock on the front door. He entered the mansion and was over took by the enormity of it. He was exploring it upstairs and down when he came upon a underground network of halls and rooms. He decided to see if there was a way for the marauders to enter the mansion. There were many doors, but Remy didnt stick around to look in them all. He passed a hanger that was much like Sinisters. He continued down a long corridor. He took a right turn and saw lights. He peeked inside and saw a lab. He shuddered and turned away quickly running smack into something furry. Remy jumped back and got a look at the bearer of the fur. It was a short blue man in a lab coat holding a cup of coffee. Remy dashed for the exit, but the furry man blocked the way. Remy decided to try the other way. He took a left then a right and found his way above ground. As he was coming above ground he heard alarms go off. He looked around. He had no idea where he was at, so he started running until he reached the gate and easily climbed over it. He sighed as he thought about the long walk ahead of him.
"Can you give me a description of him?" Jean Grey asked Hank a.k.a. Beast.
"Well, If I recall correctly he was taller than me."
Jean sighed, exasperated. "Beast," she pleaded."I really didnt see much of him."
"What color hair did he have?" Jean asked.
"The only thing I saw were his eyes." Beast answered.
"That wont be enough to run through the computer." Jean commented.
"It would if they were red and black." Beast said leaving the room.
"Hold on. What did you say?"
"They were red on black."
"Well, that would probably show up." Jean said as she made her way to the main computer.Jean sat down at the computer and waited for the information to come out. Just then Scott Summers entered the room. "Did you figure out who it was?" He asked putting his arms around Jean.
"Im still waiting for it to come back." Jean answered just as the computer beeped. "Nope. He wasnt found in the computer."
"Are you sure that hes a mutant?" Scott asked.
"How many humans have red on black eyes?"
"Oh." Scott replied.
"So what do we do now, fearless leader?" Jean asked.
"Theres not much we can do. Wolverine volunteered to prowl around the grounds. I dont think hell come back." Scott finished.
"Okay. Good night Scott." She said as he left.
