bobby fischer to join funky mf as chess correspondent?
I would like to thoroughly dash the rumours that Mr Fischer is to replace me, Mr Flinch, as chess correspondent to funky mf.
Mr Fischer, or Bobby as I call him, did travel from his secret hideout in Budapest to my mountain hut in Nepal, in order to plead his case, but unfortuneately did not make the grade.
In an independently judged contest of chess, shogi, Fischer Random Chess (which he invented) and Super Bomber Man I beat him 99 nil, and thus had to turn down his offer.
