79.07.24 This family that has allowed us to stay in thier cozy villa has been quite nice in letting us stay. The pater familias and his children, seem very pleased with the stories of our adventurers. This morning we thanked the family for their hospatality and left.
"Oh in the name of Zeus!" Has been a very popular phrase this day. The mountain that Spock has been warning us about for so long finally lost it's patients. Though we figure that it was all some warring by Mars and Pluto. From the clouds of ash that blew from the volcano many people saw the image of Pluto's head. We have taken to be a sign that the gods wants many more of us dead.
When we saw the mountain blow it's top we had already left the family and had checked our supplies on the ship. We had anticipated leaving today anyways. Yet now we are forced to, for more and more people try to get on our boat the longer we stay here.

Finally, when we did get to leave we sailed out of the Bay of Naples. We thought that this would be a wise move because it was less crowded farther out at sea.
