Modifed wharf.dll and vwm.dll README. 20 Jan 99
*************************************************

These files are released under the same licensing, etc as the rest of
litestep - freeware.

Just briefly, here's the first hack-together of a mod for litestep
allowing different sized wharf tiles. I've been running a slightly
different version at 32 pixels for the last few months and haven't had any
problems.

Anyway, use is simple, it simply replaces your existing wharf.dll and
vwm.dll. You need to add the following line into your step.rc file:

WharfTileSize x

Where x is the tile size of your wharf tiles.

Now, obviously most of your wharf applets will no longer run. Again, with
a nasty hack I've modified the lstime. I'll probably release that later.

You'll find that it will extract icons, etc, with no problems, so you can
leave all that if you don't mind having slighlty offset icons - thats how
I'm running it at the moment. I'm way too lazy and too bad an artist to
bother doing my own 32 pixel theme.

Anyway, its pretty simple. As I said, the whole thing is a fairly simple
hack-together, and was actually so simple I don't know why the Litestep
crew didn't put it in. I consider it an extremely important feature (64
pixels takes up quite a bit of the screen!).

This is a pretty unsupported release, however if you've got any
questions/suggestions/comments, please let me know. You can catch me on
efnet IRC as Trog (occaisionally - look for me in #quake).

I'd love to see this functionality added into the next Litestep release
(hint hint). Btw, congrats to the Litestep crew on an awesome job - I
couldn't live without it. I hope Litestep continues to grow as it has!

Enjoy,
