Magius' Palm Reading Lessons

Lesson No. 11: Bony Joints

Look at the outline of the subject's thumb. Follow its shape along the ouside from the tip down towards the wrist. Does the bony joint at the top crease stick out? If it does it means the person is stubborn. The more it juts out the more obstinate they can be. If someone has this formation it's almost impossible to get them to change their mind once they have dug in their heels.

Trace down to the next jiont where the base of the thumb meets the palm. If this sticks out sharply it means the person is very creative with their hands. This formation is called "the angle of manual dexterity." People who are brilliant at making things and enjoy do-it-yourself activities or handicraftsvery often have a sharp angle here.

Follow down from the thumb to where the palm meets the wrist. Whenever you see a sharp angle at this point, it means that the person has a wonderful ear for music. Many musicians have this formation in their hands. it's actually known as "the angle of timing."
If you have this angularity but still insist you can't string twoon notes together, it can mean you have an expuisite sense of timing rather than being musical. Sometimes brilliant sportsmen and women, who can't sing worth and damn but who know just when to hit the ball to get it into the net, have this marking. Comedians, too, often have this construction in their hands. Like Sporting types they may not be brilliant musicians but their great sense of timing enables them to drop the punch line at exactly the right moment to make their audience split their sides with laughter.
