Lesson No. 7: Fingers (Part 3)
In lesson three you learned about the mounts. The fingers are named after the mounts that are just below them. Just as mounts, each finger represents an area of your life. Depending on it's length and appearance, it can reveal alot about your life, who you are, what you're good at, and what you find you find interesting to do.
The Index Finger - Also known as the Jupiter finger, the index finger tells about leadership, how the person in the world and whether they think other people respect them and liten to what they have to say. It's best when this finger is roughly the same length as your ring finger, because this means the person is confident about their abilities and happy with the way they are. If it is long, however, it means that the person likes being in control and others may think they're a bit bossy. People who's Jupiter finger is much shorter than their ring finger tend to be shy and unsure of themselves. People with very short Jupiter fingers are described as having a ship on their shoulder.
The Middle Finger - Also known as the Saturn finger, the middle finger tells about a persons sense of responsibility and, depending on it's length, can tell whether a person behaves wisely or foolishly. A good length for this finger is slightly longer than the middle finger. This means the person is sensible and reliable, with a healthy attitude towards your responsibilities and that you carry out your duties in a mature fashion. However, if this finger is noticeably short it reveals an immature person who runs away from responsibility. It's very hard to depend on someone with a very short middle finger. On the other hand, if the middle finger is much longer than the ring finger, it shows someone who has too much seriousness in their nature. A very long middle finger reveals a person who is self absorbed, can't take a joke, and only sees the miserable side of life. You can notice these people miles away because the grumble about everything all the time.
The Ring Finger - Also known as the Apollo finger, this finger represents our sense of happiness, the lighter side of life, and our ability to make and appreciate beautiful things. The best length for this finger is roughly as long as your index finger. This means that the person is good at arts and crafts and enjoys music and dancing. This also shows that the person is good fun to be with. Someone who has a very long ring finger tends to live in a fantasy world, day-dreaming of fame, wealth and success. If it's very short, it means the person is not especially creative, so his or her talents will lie elsewhere.
The Little Finger - Also known as the Mercury finger, this finger deals with comunictaion and the speed at which our minds work.
**Note: This finger will usually be shorter than the rest. To get an accurate measurement, take a measurement of the finger, and then compuare it to the length of the ringfinger. Do not compare them by site, because the little finger is set low into the palm.** A normal sized little finger will reach just beyond the top crease line of the nail section of the ring finger. Someone who's little finger is like this has a lively mind and a good ablility with the languages. A long mercury finger reaching quite far up that top section of the ring finger reveals a person who is clever and witty. People with long little fingers are good at speaking and can be excellent writers. Long mercury fingers can also be a sign that the person is good at sciences or has the ability to make lots of money. A short mercury finger won't reach as far as the top creas on the ring finger and this can mean that the person finds it difficult to put his or her thoughts into words. Interestingly, many little fingers have a tip that bends slightlytowards the ring finger. This identifies a sharp, shrewd, and quick witted person. But if you see a very crooked little finger, beware! It can mean that it's owner doesn't always stick to the truth. However, not every crooked little finger reveals a dishonest person! The finger may have been bent in an accident or distorted by rheumatism - a disease that attacks the joints of bones. A good hand analyst never makes a judgement before carefully checking the facts.
