Described as similar to Nessie but with white ear-like flaps on the head. Curious of boats, easily frightened by noise. Makes no vocalizations. Has large eyes and mouth. As of 22 Jan 1986, protected by law. Most often seen in May-Oct. | Viking era-present. 22 sightings between 1820 & 1898. 175 documented sightings total, but oddly enough none in the 1960's!
