The sighting of
strange objects in the sky may actually predate the emergence of
modern man. Perhaps the earliest depictions of cylindrical objects
resembling spacecraft, with what might be their extraterrestial
occupants, are those carved on a granite mountain and on rocks on an
island in Hunan province, China. They have been assigned a tentative
age of 47,000 years, which puts them within the time-span of
Neanderthal man, predating modern Homo sapiens.
Filing a report
of a UFO that he had sighted while governor of Georgia Jimmy Carter
described a round, self-luminous object that first appeared bluish,
then turned reddish. His report read,
I am convinced
that UFO's exist because I've seen one... It was very peculiar
aberration, but about 20 people saw it... It was the darndest thing
I've ever seen. It was big; it was very bright; it changed colors;
and it was about the size of the moon. We watched it for 10 minutes,
but none of us could figure out what it was...
As for me
myself, I have not seen anything in the skys that I thought might of
been a ufo!! I do believe that there could be some other intelligent
Life form out there though. So many universes and so much space ...
But as far as Aliens Abe is my favorite!! LOL.
