Druid Ritual

Through ritual we express our faith. We give thanks to our ancestors, and for waters that run clearly. We offer our gifts to the Celtic God/desses of old. Who are very much alive with us today! Ritual offers us a sacred space to share with them our love and gratitude through invocations, songs, poetry, dance, and prayer. When we prepare ourselves for ritual it is a time to let go os daily stresses, be well rested, and well attuned to our bodies. It is good beforehand to take a walk in nature, meditate, take an herbal bath, or do something that promotes a sense os well being, that also relieves stress.

Ritual Wear

Ritual wear is very simple. A white or offwhite robe, cloak, or shawl. Very easy to make if you don't already have one. Usually we wear mocasins or go barefoot ( that is tough in the colder seasons). If you need instruction for making a robe please e-mail me. Other things you may need to bring to ritual are in part donating something that will be part of the ritual. Like candles, herbs for the offering, and food for the potluck fellowship which takes place afterwards.

This is only a rough-draft of a ritual. When we put our energies together beforehand and plan out the Seasonal Rites they can become as creative and as mind opening as we want them to be. This is just an arcetype of what actual Druidic Ritual is. Back
