Since Angel's death by her hands, Buffy has not returned to Sunnydale; and her friends and family are worried. Buffy has moved to another town and is going by her middle name of Anne, in an attempt to hide from the rest of the world and escape her destiny as the slayer.You can't run from your destiny though, and it finds her again when homeless people begin to disappear only to reappear some time later much older and delirious. Buffy finds herself caught in some nightmarish demon dimension and must kill a few demons to free herself and the others trapped there.
