This episode starts off with a school field trip, never a lucky event for our gang. After the trip a  student turns up missing and so does an Incan Mummy. Could those two things be connected , of course. Also happening is the arrival of exchange students, coming to live with their host families for a while. Much to Buffy's chagrin her mom has decided to bring one a student into their home. A little strangeness, a boy was supposed to show up, but when Buffy arrives at the bus depot to pick him up a girl is in his place. Hmmmm. Xander is quite smitten by the beautiful, young girl and oddly enough she finds his "charms" quite irresistible. Well, completely desiccated bodies start to show up and someone seems to be trying to kill the young girl. All comes to reveal itself at a high school dance held at the Bronze, in honor of the exchange students. At that same dance a young musician becomes quite entranced by Willow. This is the first appearance of Oz (Seth Green).
